   Have eaten in La Mancha for many years. The food on this visit was at best average, and now very overpriced. The table we were given, was in a corner looking at a wall. Other diners suffered the same and were moved twice. Service was acceptable. The toilet was blocked, and when I spoke to the manager about this and the overall poor experience, his reaction was one of apathy with a touch of arrogance. For a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost empty, which was never the case under the previous owners. Hope the new owners take my feedback to make changes.

   Decent overall. 2 of the 7 dishes wasn’t that good but the rest was fine. Not to bad price wise. The chicken wings on the special was the best dish.

   Been going to La Mancha for approximately 20 years and it's always been an enjoyable experience. I think tonight may be our last visit unfortunately. I'll start with the positives..... Comfy chairs and cute decor . They have added some lemon trees and fairy lights, which created a lovely ambience. The waitresses and young waiter were lovely. Unfortunately, the food was a complete letdown Some of the dishes were luke warm to cold and because the plates were cold, this meant after 5 minutes, most of the food on our individual plates went cold very quickly. The beef strips were awful 😖 they had an overpowering taste of sage , really quite strange , everyone agreed and we complained. The manageress apologised and swapped them for beef in red wine which wasnt much better and just looked like watery gravy . As we were eating we realised that several dishes had the same chopped green herb on them and tasted the same . The prawns, potato bravas and chicken in wine all were just sprinkled with the same herb, especially the chicken that was drowned in it . The meatballs were overcooked and dry . The paella was nice though. Because we had over ordered there was a lot of food left and normally I would of asked for a doggy bag but we just didn't want it . The manageress came over and asked us if we were happy with our food , I think she expected the generic " lovely thanks" but when we tried to tell her about the overpowering same herb sprinkled over a lot of the dishes she kept saying " yes it's to make the food tastier" . We know that , but you use the herb/spice that compliments the dish not the same one on prawns , chicken, beef and potatoes. The bill came and they had charged us for either 3 or 4 portions of chicken wings that we didn't get and took off £6 to a charity that we were not made aware of . Very cheeky . Ask first !

   unfortunately had a problem with cold food, the food quality seems reduced since the last time we dined here. dry dishes with not much sauce. Order battered prawns and when we tried them it was some sort of white fish definitely not prawns. Never had any problems over the numerous years we have been coming

   Food was average, I felt it had been warmed up rather than freshly made , it was just about warm, fish cakes where falling apart mushy lamb tagine was tasty apart from the shop bought mint sauce I expect freshly made sauce salad was small but tasty chicken fajitas was warmed up pre made mix garlic potatoes the sauce on them was not nice spoilt them will not be returning a real shame It used to be my fave place to go in Rochdale

   This place is amazing! Everything was perfect 👌 Staff were lovely, very quick service and made sure the food and everything was okay for us. I highly recommend.
