   The waffle was really good and buttery. Busy place but had a reservation and seated immediately. We were a party of 8. Our food came out separately and not together. Our fish www ready 15 minutes before our sides. Disconnected service. Chicken was hot tasty and collards were very salty.Overall not bad.

   Waiting a long time for water and server to acknowledge us. Menus had food on them. Had to ask for more water. Noise level was terrible and had to yell to talk to my husband 1 foot away. We are not old !

   First timer, I made reservations but still had to wait > 30 minutes after requested time. The assistant manager did her best to accommodate us (much appreciated). Overall the chicken, biscuits AND pickles were ON POINT and oh so tasty

   If you don’t want to wait. Make a reservation. We arrived at our reservation time and was seated within 5-7 minutes. Waitress was slow. Drinks took forever to get to us. We went for the fried chicken hype. It’s was ok. Didn’t like the menu. And the fact that you was $25 for chicken and then another $10 for a side

   We had a waitress in training and as she was removing the dirty plates, she dropped my utensils on me. Given it was an accident but my sleeves are now stained. 🤦🏻‍♀️

   Our service Candice went above and beyond. Also the manager I think he was, bald head light skinned guy was very energetic and displayed amazing customer service. We look forward to returning.

   Went for brunch. The food was pretty good, but not great. Had the grilled shrimp. The shrimp had a grilled taste, but not much other flavor. I also had the fried chicken with biscuits. The chicken was cooked well and I loved the crunch, but needed just a tad bit more seasoning. It did come with 3 sauces, but they didn't really do any justice. The biscuits were good and the jam paired perfectly with them, that was the best part of my meal.

   Shannon was fantastic! Her recommendations were all spot on and everything that we tried was delicious; we got a family-style spread for dinner and crushed every bit of it with some frozen margs of course! Patio was gorgeous and the entire staff was great, we loved La Lucha!

   Excellent food, drinks and service. Fried chicken, biscuits, grilled shrimp and deviled eggs were especially good.

    This was my first time dining here, and let me just say—it won’t be my last! From the moment we walked in, the service was on point. The hostess seated us promptly and brought water to the table right away, which I really appreciated. We were a party of four and were initially seated at a smaller table, but when we asked to switch, the staff moved us without hesitation. Shoutout to our server Marlon—he was AMAZING! Super friendly, gave great recommendations, and kept everything flowing smoothly. We’d heard so many people rave about the chicken, so naturally, we all ordered the chicken and waffles. My sister also got the roasted oysters, and wow—every bite was delicious! The chicken was hot, juicy, and flavorful, and those waffles? Fluffy, golden perfection. Don’t even get me started on the syrup—I need that bottled up and sent to my house! The oysters were solid too—we tried both flavors, but the garlic ones were hands-down my favorite. We also sipped on some cocktails—the La Lucha Margarita and Lemon Drops—and had zero complaints. Our reservation was for noon, and while it was quiet when we arrived, the place filled up fast. Clearly, word is out! Highly recommend this spot, and I will 100% be back!
