   We were seated next to a swinging door that kept hitting our table as staff went in and out. The tuna on my salad did not taste fresh.

   Simply lovely! What a gorgeous spot. The meal was excellent and the ambiance could not be topped. It was a work lunch and the place was fairly empty - only complaint is the service went slightly downhill as we ate and we had to wait quite awhile for coffee/ dessert and then our bill. But overall highly recommend

   The service and food was excellent, they went out of their way to make sure my allergies were taken care of, even charge dish a bit. The venue makes it perfect.

   We had a really nice dinner last night! The highlight of the meal was a delicious watermelon gazpacho, recommended by our server. Steaks were cooked to perfection, side dishes were hot and tasty, and my cold glass of Sancerre hit the spot. I did feel bad for our server, who was sat with too many tables for one person to manage. He did an awesome job, though, and we never felt ignored. While the food was good, I was hoping for more of a “wow, this is the best food ever” experience considering the price of our meal. For that reason, we’d probably only return for a quick drink and not a full dinner.

   Outstanding experience for a birthday brunch. Food and drinks were amazing, specifically the croque madame and le bleu drink (non alcoholic cocktail, but I decided to add some booze to that). Big thanks to our server Orlando!!! Service was perfect!!

   Solid choice but overpriced for the quality of the food. The croissant was malformed and the eggs were fine, but not amazing. I'd expect a bit more from a restaurant at this price point. There are other options on 14th Street (le Diplomate, for example) that are better.

   This was the most amazing experience. My husband and I are from Tucson, Az. We don’t have a lot of options for this kind of dining. It was so much and more than we could’ve asked for! Tim was taking care of us and he is what made our night. I hope La Grande knows how valuable Tim is. We would come back just to hangout with Tim and some of the other staff they were so kind! Thank you for the experience it was a blessing!

   Food/drink and venue/ambiance was really fantastic, but does feel a little pricey for what you get. Service leaves a lot to be desired, but was not offensively poor.

    We arrived on time and the receptonist had trouble finding our reservation and someone to seat us upstairs. It was a birthday celebrtion, and the four of us were dressed formally and ready for a lovely evening in a beautiful art deco setting, The young man who was to seat us took us to the first table at the top of the stairs adjacent to the open bar (no table cloth, middle of the room). We asked for a table in the quieter side area with table cloths and were able to sit there. The venue is lovely. Our waiter had an attitude the minute he came to the table, and it did not improve throughout the evening. Somehow we ended up ordering everthing for dinner at the same time . We waited and waited for drinks and then the appetizers came virtually at the same time. Oysters were excellent. Dinner was hard on the heels of the appetizers--we wanted to order wine but no waiter so we had to snag a bus boy. Steaks were outstanding. Lobster was appalling. Had to wait to order desserts; desserts not at all what I expected in term or quality or French variety. Happy Birthday was a small scoop of orange sherbert with a little chocolate "sign." Some other patrons were beautifully dressed for a fine restaurant, but they also allow the "jeans and t-shirt" crowd. Would I go back--yes, for drinks at the bar and light bites. The interior is worth it, but it is disappointing for a venue with some much potential to be a glamorous, elegant dining spot with perfectly trained staff for a bespoke evening out.
