   I love love the place . Our reservation was late but they made sure we had a great meal for the night. I will definitely visit again very soon ☺️

   Beautiful, grand restaurant and highly recommended. Food was good but our waiter was so busy (giving order status as he runs by, asking if we want another drink as he runs by) that it diminished the experience greatly. Overall rank would’ve been higher had it not been for this aspect.

   It’s a very nice place with fantastic food. It can be crowded but that’s DC. I like the decor, and I like the fact that it’s family friendly.

   I enjoyed my Mother’s Day at the restaurant. Overall things went well. We arrived early for our reservation, and was asked to wait by the bar. So, we grabbed a couple of cocktails. The restaurant is so beautiful, so while we waited I got a chance to take it all in. We were seated within the half hour, which was great! We arrived at our table, nice seat. The waiter came by to get us started and at the onset seemed a disturbed/bothered with us. I knew right away we’d need to get on the same page or this would not be a good experience. The afternoon continued with us ordering drinks, hor d’ oeuvres and mains. I asked the server about the steak and how it was prepared bc we were at a French restaurant. He answered that it was a really good steak. Okay, I guess he didn’t want to go into the details. (My ribeye was just ok, very smoky tasting and no sear). We had a couple of hiccups 1) a cocktail was really bad, we had to send it back, the waiter questioned us and didn’t seem to understand the issue. I asked that he take it back and request that the bartender that fixed it while we waited to be seated prepare it again 2) our main dishes came out on to of the hors d'oeuvres. That felt really rushed and honestly there was not enough room on the table prior to the clear out. The waiter handle those two issues well and we seemed to be in a better place. All in all it was a nice, most of the staff was very nice and accommodating, we got to be seated earlier than our reservation and the atmosphere and beauty of the restaurant was 5 out of 5

   I was so excited and the sandwich I ordered to replace it with Cesar salad and ended up paying $28 for the sandwich and an entire salad $18. Too expensive and the croissant sandwich not good and tiny. Not worth it. Sorry.

   I have been to Petit Pucher in New York City and the food was much better at that location. There was grill octopus on the menu and the croque madani was in bread that was not quite as thick, as well as topped not just with cheese, but with a sauce and put under the broiler.  I was rather disappointed with the quality of the food. My dining companion also just said the food was only average. Very disappointed.

   Beautiful restaurant. Visited on Mother’s Day. Nice menu options. Food was really delicious. We had French toast, roasted chicken, the burger and eggs Benedict. Everyone’s entrees were delicious. For dessert, we had cheese cake and profiteroles. Both were fabulous. BUT….service was atrocious. We had to wait forever to get our drinks. And our entrees. And our dessert menus. The waiter would stop by, see what we needed and after waiting 10-15 minutes and reminding the server, it might show up. He seemed much more interested in serving the table next to us. Not sure if I’d go back. Too many other great restaurants with better service. Hate to give a bad review, just based on service, but that’s how disappointing it was. Go if you’re patient and not in a hurry….

    Service was sub-par followed by his reconnections that were even worse. Other tables had great looking meals. We were guided incorrectly into the menu.
