    Our family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on Saturday, as all the food was comfort food, served in a traditional Italian way. The service from Courtney was exceptional and our drinks and meals were served in a timely manner. The $14 cocktails went down a treat and the pistachio gelato was to die for. We we will be coming back !

    Right from the moment I walked in the doors my partner and I were greeted with excellent service and led to our table. I had booked this for my partner's birthday and they were kind enough to give her a little birthday card as well as complimentary bubbly. They gave us a perfect amount of time to see what we wanted to get started with, we ended up choosing the GAMBERI CON CAVOLO as well as TRIS DI BRUSCHETTE. These were both absolutely impeccable. the prawns were cooked to perfection with amazing presentation and the taste of the Bruschette was out of this world. We then got Beef Ragu and Con Nduja. The presentation for the mains were quite ordinary but the taste was amazing! For dessert we got the Nutella Infused panna cotta and the Tiramisu. The Tiramisu was not as strong as the ones I've previously had but it still tasted delicious and the panna Cotta was very rich and creamy. The service and ambiance of this place was definitely something to note, all of the waiters/waitresses were more than happy to help at any point in time and always checking up on us to see if we needed anything.

    Dining at La Gioia is a gourmet experience. It is surprising that a fine dining restaurant would set up in Erina rather than Terrigal or Avoca but we're glad they did ! Four of us (mature age) went on 'locals' night (Tuesday) after a long weekend so it was a bit quiet. We all enjoyed our entrees and mains. The presentation, flavours and quality of the food were first class and we would definitely return. The service was professional and attentive. It is always a risk to try a new restaurant but we can recommend La Gioia to any discerning diner. Try it and you wont be disappointed !

    The food was very good with good portion sizes. Presentation was very good. The interior was very nice and comfortable. The service was very good and the wait staff were very attentive. The one thing that was disappointing was that the cocktails were advertised and offered at the restaurant for $ 14 each. When ordering the drink it was never mentioned that the cheaper price was for a few on a selected list. This was only realised when paying the bill. Normal price was $ 22. This was the only disappointment of the evening. Being clear about what you are offering is important to avoid bill shock. All in all a wonderful experience.

    Absolutely phenomenal! From the service and cleanliness to the food and beverages, this beautiful restaurant offers a unique and luxurious experience. I will definitely be returning, we were thrilled with our dining experience at La Gioia.

    Amazing service and beautiful restaurant! one of my new favorites although i will mention i'm not sure what happened in the kitchen as our mains took almost an hour or so to come out and we were one of the first tables to order Entrees and drink service was fast

    Had a wonderful evening. Menu extensive, with delicious sounding options. What we had was excellent. Service from the young lady looking after us was next level, she is a credit to the restaurant The owner/s should be proud of what they have accomplished.

    We love going here! We brought some friends along to introduce them to this fabulous restaurant! They were very impressed also. Food is delicious, wine is brilliant and the service is always professional and friendly. We love the quietness also, it makes such a huge difference to your dining experience. Thanks again for such enjoyable dining experience, we will be back again soon! Apologies for being the last to leave also!

    Wow what a great new place. Went here for our wedding anniversary. The food was just delicious. We had the Duck Ragout and the Rigatoni. Both excellent. Tiramisu and Panna cotta after, were also really lovely. The staff were great. Great service and super friendly.
