Outstanding. We'll go back!
The environment was really classy. The service was attentive and nice. Would recommend the truffle fries for appetizers they were delicious.
The food was fantastic but the service was very subpar
We had a cocktail at the bar before being seated and liked the bartender best of all. Calamari appetizer was spicy due to jalapeños in it. Dinner was good, server was nice and polite.
The waitress we had, Natalia, was outstanding!!
She was efficient, very friendly, and created a positive energy all around her.
I would ask to be seated at one of her tables again.
Or maybe all the waitstaff and service personnel there are as wonderful. If so, kudos to whomever is providing training and guidelines on customer service.
The food was meticulously presented, well seasoned and flavorsome! The service by Miguel was great, very friendly and attentive to all of our requests and questions regarding the menu. The place was cozy; its ambience, lighting and view were right up my alley!
We had such a lovely evening. Everything was just perfect! The fantastic service, a perfect cocktail, my salmon dish and the table! You nailed it LaCucina! Gold medal from me. We will be back!
Miguel was amazing! The food was great. It wasn't very crowded when we arrived at 6:00, but by 6:45/7 it was a full restaurant. Really great energy and will definitely be returning!
Loved the food! Very fresh and yummy. Will definitely be returning.
Thank you for the terrific review ! We are pleased you enjoyed your evening with us and hope to see you in the near future!
We loved the service.
Excellent food and atmosphere! Will definitely go again.
The staff was amazing, they warned us when we got there that the food might be slow cause they were understaffed but that was no our experience. Our drinks and appetizers came out in a timely manner, and it was all delicious.
We had a food allergy at our table and they made many accommodations, including just putting food that was cooked in the same fryer as shellfish on the other side of the table from the person with the allergy.
William, our server was fantastic, he was practicing as a bartender and made all of our drinks extra special! I would definitely recommend and will be going back myself!
The house music was a little concerning
First timers there, no that great. Waitress left us midway for apps and never came back for our entree orders. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. They never apologized. They kept sending us different servers over. Then our bill had added items we didn’t order. It just wasn’t all that pleasant.
Assembly Row continues to expand with great shops and restaurants, and La Cucina is one of them. Delicious food and large portions. Would recommend!
Thank you for your 5 star rating! We are pleased you enjoyed your dinner with us and appreciate your business. We hope to see you soon!
Ther waitress was wonderful but the rest was awful. The Ceasar salad was vinegary and the chicken parm was a thick breast, not a cutlet. The pasta was served with chunky stewed tomatoes. Nothing like it was precovid.
Loved our waitress!
Thank you for your great review! We are pleased you enjoyed your dining experience with us and hope to see you soon . We appreciate your patronage.
The waiters were rude
The place has a lot of potential but completely falls short on many fronts. MANY items on the menu were "out of stock". Very few options if you are vegetarian and not much flexibility. The food itself tasted good so I give that to the chef. But.. first time I have been to an Italian restaurant where bread is not served at the table LOL. Ambience was nice except for the glaring fluorescent street light from outside on our table.
We hope you return to give us another chance to improve your dining experience. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 guidelines we can not serve bread at this time. With upcoming less strict regulations we hope to have more flexibility in the future.
Nice wait staff and food was excellent!
Thankyou for the 5 star review! . We are pleased you enjoyed your dining experience and hope to see you back again in the future. We appreciate your patronage and were pleased to serve your party.
Good food and very friendly service.
Well after last night’s experience at La Cucina I wanted to really give this restaurant no stars but the prompt wouldn’t allow to give a review of one the worst dining experiences that I can remember in a very long time. I fully understand using the contactless ease for no menu but at LA Cucina system totally omits the customer service experience by making it a take out process inside a restaurant. When speaking to manager about it because our server was mostly non existent all night. The manager said it’s goal is to make it easier for the customer which it does not. After working all day we all looking forward to come to this restaurant because past pleasurable experiences but this new order system plus the discussion with the staff was met with a confrontational attitude (particularly because they admitted they don’t like either) After speaking with manager on why would the system would need my email and credit card upfront she said so customers don’t walk out without paying, we said that’s not the good attitude for your customers. Since we asked not use the system put the order in. After the meal arrived from the busboy our server must have made the assumption that our discussion on system was about her service so she decided not provide no customer service for the rest of the evening. I fully under that restaurants are short staffed but this definitely not productive for customer or restaurant staff. I will definitely tell people to stay far away La Cucina because this place has absolutely no understanding what it takes to be successful in a hospitality industry.
I wanted to love it. The service was amazing! The pasta was not amazing. The kind man running around to make sure everyone was happy made my night.
the only nice things was the waiter we forced to get. going on an app to order and pay for food while you are in a nice restaurant was not something we had expected, so that started off not son great. if it wasn't cold or raining we would have left.
the sangria was not good, the calimari was so hot with too many hot peppers we hardly ate any of it. although i like the fried ravioli, the salad i had was mediocre.
sorry to say
Great food, but the billing process is clunky, not very customer friendly
The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Everything we ordered was excellent, and we really had different items. The service was perfect, met our needs without being intrusive.
We look forward to going back again...soon.
The food was absolutely delicious. The only thing we did not like was you had to order your food on your phone, and pay before receiving the food. If you wanted appetizers you had to order and pay two separate times so all of the food would not come out at once. We did not get appetizers so this was not an issues, and someone in the restaurant said they are trying to get rid of this ordering/payment method. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was.
I’m only rating this so low due to the restaurant being closed upon arriving! My partner and I have stayed in the area a few times hoping to eat here and it’s always closed (even on weekends).
Showed up for our reservation and the restaurant was closed!
While the restaurant is gorgeous, it was not an experience I would like to have again. With no menus and no servers coming to the table, it just made the entire evening difficult. Figuring out the ordering on the app was one thing, but the staff seemed demotivated and unenthusiastic. They were not very helpful in understanding the ordering process, and there was no way to order a custom cocktail off the app. I had high hopes and understand these are COVID precautions, but it could be better executed.
I would not recommend LaCucina. The service was poor and the food was just OK. The atmosphere is wonderful but all in all, I would not go back. The atmosphere is not enough.
Food has gone down hill from a year or so ago. Our waitress was extremely inattentive. Took 10 minutes to get our drink order. Our group was a party of four and after receiving the bill our water glasses were never filled up. I won't be returning any time soon.
Great food!!! Service was a little slow but overall good. Will definitely go back for dinner.
Some of the best service I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend
Horrible service. Our waitress had no personality. She basically walked up to our table and blurted out, "are you ready?" No "Hi my name is..." "Do you have any questions about the menu?" "We have a few specials tonight..." It was absolutely painful. Food was just okay. But I can tell you there are quite a few Italian restaurants within a 10 minute drive from here that have much better service AND food.
Started off the meal with a charcuterie board that was one of the worst we have ever had. I had an arugula salad that I thought was very good. For entrees two of us had chicken dishes and the chicken was overcooked and very dry. We had two pasta dishes as well that were mediocre. Overall, the restaurants aesthetic is great but that’s as far as it goes.
Ambiance was wonderful. Loved the surrounding windows especially at dark with twinkling lights outside.
Food was excellent.
Ambience was excellent. Food was provided in good portion. There was only on dessert option available at that time so that was turnoff. But overall a great novel, eclectic eatery for friends and family.
Thank you for your 4 start review! We were pleased your dining experience with us at La Cucina was pleasant. We hope to see you again to earn a 5 star rating.
Sat at the bar! Great food, great service!
Food was just okay. Had the veal marsala and it was chewy; they also served it without the linguini it was listed as having. Waiter served us a wrong drink and then insisted it was the right one.
Overall just not the experience we wanted; service was impersonal and felt like they were just pumping people through for the weekend. I expected more for the price.
