At first, everything was great, and the evening would have been an outstanding celebration until the place caught fire and burned down. Thank God, no one was hurt.

We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. Our waitress was exceptional.

My sister and I had reservations for dinner. We were seated promptly and were given a table of our choice. We chose wine and ordered an appetizer. (calamari) We did not order our entrees at that time. Our wine arrived promptly. Unfortunately, we had to ask several times about the calamari. We waited to order our meal as we wanted to enjoy the appetizer without being rushed on our meal. We were assured that the calamari would be out momentarily at which point we ordered the prime rib special. Our server was very nice but didn't seem to have a clear idea what was included with the prime rib or the size of the serving. She also informed us that we could place half orders. We requested to know the size at which point she went to check and then let us know that she had been mistaken, that it was the ribs that came in half orders. We STILL had not received our appetizer but she said that she thought it was being plated and so we went ahead and placed our order. We watched 3-4 tables, seated after us, that received their food before our calamari appeared.
Finally, ta da, the calamari arrived. It was very good and we enjoyed it, however, before we finished it, our prime rib meals arrived. Just what we wanted to avoid. Not sure if it was a problem in the kitchen or in the placing of the order.
We enjoyed the live music and the setting. We would definitely come back.

Ordered the swordfish with the pineappls salsa, cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty. Husband ordered the lamb, it was cooked well and tasted great. The mashed potatoes were light and very buttery and creamy. Wished the bread was warm, but their black pepper compound butter tastes good. Overall good food that is priced reasonably.

There was a mix up with our reservation but the manager sorted it out and had us seated right away. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were delicious. I also ordered the N.Y. strip steak, it was cooked and seasoned well. My husband ordered the boneless ribeye and it was fantastic. The cheddar grits tasted great too.
We ordered the peach cobbler for dessert. It was more of a peach crisp, no cobbler pie dough, but an oatmeal topping. The topping was very bland and we did not enjoy it. Our server saw that we did not like it and offered us another dessert. We had the brownie a la mode and it was terrific.

Very disappointed in the food and atmosphere. They rave online about the upgrade to the dining room but we didn't see it unless it was pretty bad before the upgrade. We got the turf and surf buffet. It was served outdoors which is fine but the food was sitting out there uncovered. It was all cold. All the steak that was ready was rare and the chicken was very dry. We complained to our waitress who said she'd have someone look into it but nothing changed. We originally planned to eat breakfast there as well but no chance after our dinner experience. We've already told several people about our experience and we won't be returning.

While the staff had noted our request for a nice outdoor table due to our 24th wedding anniversary, having had our reception at Tapatio, and they did say happy anniversary, I was disappointed that no one acknowledged the occasion with a complimentary dessert or some sort of small treat. Also while the waitress was nice, she was extremely slow to check on our table and we went a very long time between drink refills, check-in's and bringing our check after completing our dinner. She did not even offer dessert or a dessert menu. Service did not match the quality of the location. Also the prices were too high for what you got, but we expected that being at a resort.

Great view of beautiful golf course landscape. Great personal service. Great food. Ate here during Restaurant Week. Beautiful drive here and would recommend driving through the hill country and avoiding i10. Sure to please and even see a few deer and other wildlife.
