Our sensational new restaurant offers the highest standards of Italian cuisine at “The Point” in Astley. With our comprehensive menu including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, we aim to please everyone with traditional favourites or classic food specially prepared by our Head Chef using local suppliers.

No expense has been spared offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a traditional table set up or booths for larger groups of diners. If you prefer a private party, we have a room with bar facilities to accommodate you and your guests. The restaurant and kitchen are brand new and designed with atmosphere in mind to give you an open plan dining experience second to none.

First bad meal I’ve had here in easily over 30 visits.. Steak was over done , fries were really small and my starter was quite bland which is a shock for this place as I rave about it all the time to everyone.

Food was average, pasta was just about ‘al dente’ could’ve done with a minute or so more as parts were a bit too hard. Service was good up until we wanted to order dessert and they seemed to have forgot about us, so I had to go and find someone to order dessert. In general it was ok, better Italian restaurants elsewhere with better value for money in my opinion.

Staff were lovely in the restaurant and bar. They couldn't do enough for you and very professional. We came for a meal and see Dan Hadfield as Gary Barlow. I hope you hire him again soon. He was brilliant!

A solid popular place for a good meal out. Always delicious & delivers a great experience.. can’t change area but the open kitchen is great but the extraction should be improved as overpowering smells do overwhelm your senses. Good staff & service they do make quite a massive effort to make your night runs smoothly 10*

The overall experience was great from food down to service. We wasn't waiting long to be served and nothing was too much trouble from the staff. Food size portions and well priced as well. Would definitely recommend and will be returning myself.

Food was delicious & the service was very professional for the main part. Appeared to be a bit of delay when we asked for some water; water did eventually arrive. We then asked for some more along with some other drinks (one of the waitresses). Our drinks came quite quickly minus the water. I would however recommend this restaurant as overall the service was effective. My 5 year old grandson was with us and he was also treated with respect. According to him it was the best chicken & chips he’s ever eaten. Thank you
