Live violin and other instruments. Good variety of classical and some pop music played on classical instruments. Gorgeous view of the church and Bay. Good for a romantic meal and great for a view of the setting sun.

It was a beautiful experience. The view and ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. The only thing that took points from the experience was the heat. It was really hot in the restaurants. The fans on the ceiling are not enough to cool down the dinning room. Perhaps adding some standing fans would be helpful. Everything else was great. The attention from the waitress was outstanding and food great.

We came to celebrate our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The view from our table was spectacular. The food was delicious. The drinks were exquisite. They remembered it was our honeymoon and brought out a special dessert. All in all, highly recommend if you’re celebrating

One of my favorite restaurants and one we make a priority to eat at every time we visit Puerto Vallarta. The beautiful setting combined with live violin performances makes the experience feel surreal and old world. Food and service are amazing and top off the experience. Strongly recommend!

Just a phenomenal experience overall. The service we received from Julio Cesar and the team was spectacular. The strolling musicians just enhanced the experience for us and our friends. We lived the food and will definitely be back.

It is disappointing to notice that more patrons are: 1) ignoring the dress code of "formal" by wearing t-shirts and beach shorts; and 2) occupying prime tables on the terrace during the prime times, only ordering drinks and no food, while they pop up and down to take pictures of the lovely view. That is not the high-class environment that this fine restaurant used to exhibit. I hate to see the invasion of this trashy behavior -- mainly by Americans.

We had the most delicious evening on the rooftop. An open-air delight of perfect service - attentive yet unobtrusive, exceptionally prepared food (rack of lamb and shrimp linguini), serenades by a trio of violinists, a long colorful sunset and all the romance of being in love. The setting is historical, yet warm and inviting. It is spacious, elegant and beautifully appointed. Highly recommend.

La Cappella was the best dinner we had in Puerto Vallarta! The meal was fantastic. Our server Jared made sure we were taken care of. He gave great recommendations of the menu and made us feel very comfortable. We were lucky to see the three violinists play and it was the highlight of the night. This restaurant has the best view in town and wonderful atmosphere. We will certainly return!

Whether on a date or with good friends or family, this restaurant is spectacular. Sunset is the time to go and do try to get a table near the edge with its beyond spectacular views of Our Lady of Guadalupe church and Banderas Bay. Being from New Orleans, I’ve been to many beautiful restaurants with excellent food. Quite honestly the ambience of this place is possibly my favorite. And the violinist and pianist were excellent!

What an absolute amazing hidden gem. How did we miss this place all the years prior to this visit? Jared our waiter was outstanding all around. He never missed a beat and is a one of a kind employee which should be rewarded for his knowledge and loyalty to this establishment. The food was out of this world. We enjoyed ever morsel. Well worth the money. Jared even asked us if we wanted to move to the front and have the best view and of course we said yes. Can’t wait to come back here next year. Thank you all for being the #1 dinner spot for us this trip.

Always excellent in almost every way. Ambience and views are outstanding, service by Sergio was very good, food was excellent, entertainment from Alejandra, Charles and Hector is always great! Only issue is their wine prices which seems to be an issue in many nicer restaurants in PV. I hope they recognize and address this issue. Otherwise an excellent restaurant! 👍👍

This was the second visit to La Capella, and it impresses more and more each time. The ambiance is like no other with the live violinists and the view over PV. Then, the spectacular food tops it off and makes for a perfect evening!

Fantastic experience. Beautiful ambiance with spectacular service and amazing food. The ribollita Tuscan soup was so savoury and the ossobuco was melt in your mouth! The violinists were a beautiful touch. They sat us by the balcony overlooking la cappella. We will definitely be going back in December!
