La Caille is Utah's premier luxury dining experience. Located on 20 acres of Salt Lake's most coveted Little Cottonwood Canyon property, La Caille's grounds offer breathtaking views, manicured gardens, canyon rivers, lush vineyards, winding brick lanes and authentic French decor. La Caille itself is housed in an 18th century French-inspired Chateau. Guests dine in one of three unique dining rooms and, during summer months, on one of our three spectacular patios. La Caille is a twelve-year AAA Four-Diamond Award recipient and our contemporary French menu and service has earned praise nationwide.

    Our waitress Julia was amazing! She had so much knowledge about the beautiful location this restaurant is in. I wish I’d had more time to walk around and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Peacocks were hilarious. Flowers were gorgeous everywhere. Staff was extremely kind.

    Perhaps the most charming location in North America; certainly the best in Salt Lake City. But that was all. In a restaurant that presumes to be high-end, waiters need to be friendly, but not familiar, and have a bit of class. Our waiter would be propriate for an Irish Pub or ordinary American food venue. Ours had no finesse. He was perfunctory. He was not helpful. I wanted some elegance and didn't get it. The food was less than ordinary. The scallop risotto was ordinary. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The risotto was tasteless. The duck breast "confit", was tough and badly done. It definitely was not "confit". It was not slow cooked and tender. Also flavorless. Food came out in less than 20 minutes, demonstrating no care in preparation. The only good thing was the amazing lobster bisque. THAT was great. A restaurant like this should have an extensive wine list of wines that are well rated. The only well rated wines on this list cost $500 and up to $2,000. The wine list was sparse and prosaic and uninteresting. My companion and I were celebrating our 10th Anniversary. La Caille asked if we were celebrating anything, and we told them. This is the ONLY restaurant I have ever been to that did not offer a celebratory recognition, like a special dessert, or something that said "happy anniversary". Nope. Nothing. I may go back for a drink to enjoy the ambiance, but will never be back for dinner.

    This was our first time coming and it was utterly amazing! We came for the Father’s Day brunch and I can happily say our expectations were blown out of the water. Our server was very kind and did his job well. The food was cooked to perfection and even their drinks were good. I think a real highlight was the steak and chimichuri sauce it was to die for. The French toast was no slouch either and was delicious. I would highly recommend coming here and the vibes are so whimsical it’s a truly great dinning experience overall.

    We went for Father’s Day and it was really special. The food was really good. We did order cocktails and they took forever so we ended up only getting one which is no big deal but would’ve been nice to not get it halfway through our meal.

    Our Father’s Day brunch at La Caille was amazing! We sat outside and it is absolutely beautiful. Food and service was top notch! We will definitely be back. We loved walking around the grounds after and seeing swan, ducks and peacocks with baby peacocks 💕

    From delicious drinks in the bar to start, to amazing food, to the best ambiance in Salt Lake City, our experience was superb. Koby was our server and did a beautiful job taking care of us all evening. Highly recommended.
