Barbecue aficionados will notice elements of American Southern barbecue peppered throughout the menu including the traditional “slow and low” technique. Kyu is one of my favorite places to dine in Miami. We’be tried almost every plate on the menu and we are never disappointed. Go for the Crispy Hamachi, the rice with king crab, the short ribs, the red snapper and the cauliflower!!!!
This place is always amazing! Consistent delicious tasty food!
Absolutely perfect! Food, service and ambience were as good as you can get.
Good Miami Spice experience in Kyu.
Food is well made with very fresh ingredients.
Excellent delicious food.
Too noisy and menu is correct but not top. There are asian restaurants better than kyu.
Creative cuisine, we liked KYU very much
Truly one of the best meals of my life! Every single dish was incredible and the vibe of the restaurant was awesome. We started with the roasted cauliflower, pork and shiitake gyoza and crispy pork steamed buns. They were all absolutely delicious. For the main dishes we had the rice with sausage, fried chicken, short ribs and meiitake mushrooms. All the meat just fell apart and the mushrooms were one of my favorite things ever. For dessert we had the coconut cake, dark chocolate s’mores cake and sorbet and again everything was phenomenal. Such a great meal!
Great food; flavorful, authentic and top quality. Service was attentive and friendly. Decor is modern and hip. Wood burning smell throughout restaurant. Tables are very close together and it is very noisy. Conversation is difficult. There is even very loud music blasting into the restrooms.
Great place!!! Great waiters and wonderful food!!
The best Service and quality
Smoked brisket is excellent, bibpop rice amazing and coconut cake! We love all items in the menu
A bit overrated. Very cold ( AC). Ok
Most delicious food, always great service.
I am so glad my friend recommended KYU! It really was one of the tastiest dishes I have ever had. We tasted different things and each one was better than the one before. Their fried rice is an experience. With lemongrass it is so aromatic I wanted to wear It! The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Really exquisite food!
Perfect! today is among the top five in Miami, in my opinion.
The constantly barking “Service Dog” next to us was a total put off. Aside from that, a really fun place with an awesome vibe. Will definitely return. The fried rice with crab was amazing.
Loved to spend my last night in Miami in Kyu!
Great ambiance, a little bit noisy but the food is AMAZING!
Everything we tried from the menu was really good!
The cauliflower is really a highlight, and also the famous coconut cake!
Disclaimer but I’m from the north Austin area so my barbecue standards are high. The smoked items were pretty good but not a 5 (3.5-4 Stars) and protein portion size was small for being sold as everyone shares at the table. Hamachi and ceviche excellent as was avocado salad. Lobster was great but small lobster. Sweet stuff (sorbet/panna cotta) was pretty good but not great. Would recommend

My favorite restaurant in Miami. Food and menu selection #1. Pork Buns, baked cauliflower with the best sauce, amazing and unique rice, great fish- the black cod I believe? The only thing is that it is very noisy...but 4 people can handle it. If its 2 people, love to sit at the bar.
Best Cauliflower EVER!!! Fried chicken was tender and seasoned perfect! Service was above and beyond! Drinks were amazing! Decor and presentation exceeded expectation! Highly recommend!
Food and ambiance was absolutely amazing.
The only thing I did not like was the fried chicken. I could taste the oil and it was very heavy. My friend and I didn't finish the chicken. The ribs were amazing. the gyoza and pork belly was incredible.
Services was on point!
2nd time at KYU and it didn't disappoint. If you are there for brunch I recommend the French Toast and both the pork belly and crab steamed buns.
Great Palace to dine
KYU never fails I haven’t had a bad meal here yet. And the service is always 1st Class.
Would recommend this place to everyone, worth every penny. The short ribs were big, incredibly tender and flavorful, both by itself and with their special sauces. The rice pot, that they mixed together at our table, had the perfect fusion of gooey and crispy, and was absolutely amazing as well. Pork gyoza; mmmm, Coconut cake; even more yum. Probably the best dining experience we have ever had in Miami - maybe even in all of Florida so far!
I LOVE the food as KYU, especially the baby back ribs. I can't get enough.
Delicioso y muy bien ambientado
awesome food! Love the Korean BBQ and the Stone Pot Fried Rice with Crab, also the coconut creamed spinach...so good
Food, as always, was full of flavor and unique. The servers are very attentive to their tables. Cool old school music playing in the background. Great vibe.
The food fusion it’s really excellent. The concept is for sharing and the amount are very acceptable. They are diverse options: seafood, meats and vegetable and they are all delicious. Totally recommended!
LOVE KYU!! Entire staff is phenomenal, brilliant balance of being super knowledgeable with a casual delivery. I get excited every time I get to come here whether it’s lunch, bar, or dinner. Cocktails and food equally incredible!!!
Kyu is an excellent restaurant. Everything we ordered was good... and everything we saw on other tables.... looked good. The tuna tartare and the roasted cauliflower and shishito peppers as appetizer all very good.
The snapper and a crab rice hot pot delicious. Come here for the place, the food and for service. It all works like a well oiled machine.
I’d have to say that the experience was not great at all. Poor quality food. I definitely expected way better dinning due to the high reviews this location has. I really disliked every single meal. The long wait doesn’t make it any better. The server was extremely nice but that’s about it. I don’t recommend this place at all. I’m a fan of fresh high quality food. This is not one of them.
The food is always good. The ambiance is super!!! We love being there.
Consistent great food...consistent great service...overall great experience
Kyu has delicious food and the service s friendly. Too noisy
The best fried chicken in town.
Terrific cauliflower and wonderful coconut cake.
Food was great but the service was very disappointing especially since we let Them know it was our twentieth wedding anniversary.
