Truly one of the best and most unique restaurants in the old port of Montréal. My husband who is Haitian confirms that the food was authentic but with complimentary influences from other cuisines. The service was exemplary. The drinks matched the food perfectly. Strongly recommend.

Retour sur notre expérience lors du brunch du 6 juillet 2025 Je souhaite partager mon ressenti suite à ma récente visite dans votre établissement le 6 juillet. Nous étions un groupe important d’environ 30-40 personnes pour souligner un anniversaire, toutes d’âge mature, et avions opté pour le menu brunch selon la réservation. Malheureusement, j’ai été très déçue par la qualité de la nourriture servie, qui ne correspondait pas du tout à mes attentes, en tant qu’Haïtienne, ni à ce qui est normalement proposé sur le marché. Il n’y avait rien d’authentique dans les saveurs, aucune épice véritablement perceptible, et mon plat était tout simplement fade. Je comprends que vous souhaitiez vous présenter comme une « fusion vibrante de saveurs caribéennes », mais ce n’était clairement pas le cas. Votre cuisine était tellement meilleure lorsqu’elle était située à Verdun. De plus, le rapport qualité-prix m’a semblé très insatisfaisant. J’ai payé 50 $ pour une place qui comprenait un mimosa et un plat de griots composé de seulement cinq morceaux de viande et trois petites bananes pesées, sans plus. Ma viande était sans goût et très grasse, sans compter les 25 $ dépensés pour le stationnement à proximité. Quelle déception ! Je ne retournerai malheureusement pas dans votre établissement. Je tenais à vous faire part de cette expérience dans l’espoir que cela puisse contribuer à une amélioration future.

Although i mentionned my allergies and preference to the waitress my plate had to be sent back to the kitchen twice before it was prepared properly. And when i finally received the proper order, i noticed i had no fork to eat. Food was greasy and didnt taste that good. Music from Don Barbarino was AMAZING !!!

Food was amazing as usual! So much variety with the discovery menu. We have taken this menu 3 times and never regretted it. Our compliments to the chef. I found a few of the drinks over priced 23 or 28$ for one drink is too much. Drinks took a while to arrivez however the service was great. We will be going back again soon. 5/5 experience

Je connaissais déjà le restaurant parce que j’y était allée à son ancienne location à Verdun. Je l’ai choisi parce que je savais que la nourriture y était excellente, les cocktails délicieux et les portions immenses !! J’ai toutefois été un peu déçue sur certains aspects. 1: la musique était tellement forte qu’on ne s’entendait pas parler. Le haut-parleur pointait directement sur notre table et plus la soirée avançait, plus le son augmentait. On est restés de 19h30 à 23h et à partir de 20h, on ne s’entendait plus parler. Il y a même eu une erreur dans notre commande parce que la serveuse n’avait pas bien compris à cause du son! La musique était très bonne, mais il serait peut-être intéressant de commencer à monter le son un peu plus tard (disons vers 21h, 21h30) plutôt que 20h. 2: 18$ pour se faire servir un cocktail qu’il faut assembler nous même est un peu décevant. Nous avons commandé un ti-ponch et nous avons été très surpris de voir la serveuse nous apporter tous les ingrédients dans des verres séparés et nous dire qu’on devait l’assembler. Je tiens à préciser que ce n’est pas l’idée d’assembler le cocktail qui est le problème. Disons juste qu’à ce prix, je m’attendais à ce que le cocktail soit balancé par un bartender et que je n’aie pas à le faire moi-même à coup d’essais et erreur. Autrement, nous avons aussi commandé un espresso martini (celui-ci servi mélangé) et il était INCROYABLE. Le grillot du chef est aussi un must à essayer.
