Sushi is normally very good but we all ordered bento boxes, not knowing that it would be terrible quality. In addition, they were £14-16 each! I can recommend the sushi and sashimi but their cooked food from the kitchen was shocking. Waitress was kind and lovely as was the atmosphere.

Great location and very nice setting with only a few tables. The food was fantastic and quite good value for sushi.

Tiny place not ideal for a quick bite, we waited 35min to be served 2 regular sushi plates and we arrived late to the concert. Only one kind guy serving, cleaning, taking payments and welcoming guest a bit too much for one person. The sushi was good but not exceptional, more authentic Japanese style than in other fancy places in London but the sushi master takes its own time preparing it that is not in line with London fast piece. The aircond was too strong

Dining at Kurumaya is an experience. Food is good and plentiful. Descriptions on the menu match the food itself so you know what you are getting. The only downside is the lack of space and feeling quite squashed in. We were a party of two sat directly behind a party of 4 including a child. Noise levels at times were intrusive because of proximity. If they can address this as their popularity grows then I forsee great things ahead.
