We chose this restaurant because of our subscription to off-line. We got $15 off of $15 or more so we thought that we would give it a try. We got there shortly after church and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we wouldn’t have to find parking. They have an adjacent gravel lot and validate your parking for two hours. The environment was very clean and had nicely decorated and very clean bathrooms despite someone’s previous experience. The main dining room was comfortably air-conditioned and colorful decorated with a beautiful mural And a window of walls looking out onto Fayetteville Street. The adjacent Bar was humid and the outdoor patio was enclosed, covered, and very humid even on a cool day; they definitely needed to raise the awnings if that’s possible in order for it to be an enjoyable space in the summertime. There was one official waiter in the dining room. He was also serving as host. Diners had to wait for him to come from the back in order to be seated, and some people waited several minutes for that to happen. However, he was friendly and helpful and another employee kept our water glasses full and chatted pleasantly. The waiter/host was very busy. He needed some help. The waiter explained that three things on the very limited menu are not available because they were redoing their menu. Very disappointing since it was a 1 page limited menu anyway. I got a pork bowl without the pork by substituting mixed vegetables. There were no seafood options, which was strange for a restaurant in this area. My husband got the beef rice bowl and was underwhelmed. It was rice and beef with cucumbers and tomatoes. Neither of us ate the raw sliced plain cucumber or tomatoes on our bowls. The rice wasn’t cold, but it wasn’t hot either nor were my chopped veggies. The plantains were hot and adequately portioned. There was nothing on either plate worth coming back for. I could have a better rice plate at Alpaca. So disappointing.

We had a party of 7 for my mom’s birthday. Service was attentive. Because we are a large party. I expected the food to take some time, the drinks they have there were lovely. my Dad is vegan so he loved the vegan options. My husband enjoyed the chicken adobo and my daughter ate the vinegar wings up.

The food was very good! The short ribs were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was great. The special scallops tasted good, but a bit overcooked. The coconut sorbet was outstanding! The service was slow. It seemed there weren't enough servers for the all of the tables.

Our server and bartender, Diesel, gave us excellent recommendations for everything! The calamari appetizer was superb and enough for 2 to share with good portions. The Beef Pares was rich in flavors and spices - delicious, and the Mushroom Salpicao was marvelous. Highly recommend!!

The Krill Experience is A-ONE . The food was delicious seasoned with perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant was energetic elevating enjoyable experience . The service & food was fast & fresh . The waitress was the most energetic & amazing lady she referred a dish it was amazing Keri Keri or Kari Kari it was basically beef stew with a mouthful of flavor from all angles

Had a new server, but for a small restaurant, we simply had no service from any of the other staff. Had to ask more than once for drink refills, as well as the side that was missing from our dinner. Beautiful restaurant, unique menu with some familiar flavors too, just wish the overall experience was better.

We were driving back from Va Beach to Charlotte and stopped in for Brunch. Outstanding food. We love this place hope to return!
