Really fantastic evening-the food was excellent and the staff were really helpful in giving food and wine recommendations. We can highly recommend the stuffed cabbage and the ratatouille.

We were visiting Budapest for the first time. Did not have any info about the food. Reserved dinner from Open Table app. And were pleasantly surprised. by the quality of food, prices, and wonderful selection of the local wines. Big thanks to Teo, our servant, who recommended the food and wine and kept an eye on us while we tried local dishes for the first time.

Almost one hour waiting for the food to be served and waiters did not advise us to ask for anything before kitchen was closed. Had to have starters and main dish with no desert or coffee and we were almost thrown away from the restaurant.

We came here for Hungarian food on our last night in Budapest. Restaurant is in a lively area just around the corner from the Four Seasons and river. Appreciated the neutral decor with pops of red. Our waitress was top notch - informed, attentive and friendly. Great training - even though she does not drink alcohol she had tasted every wine on the menu and could tell us her take on all the dishes we inquired about. Our appetizers - fried fish and cheese, bread, charcuterie platter with dips and goulash were top notch. Mains were hit and miss - duck was excellent, cheese pasta and fish soup were okay, but unfortunately our two orders of cabbage rolls were very over salted… hopefully just on that night? I also want to point out that I noted that the manager was very attentive and there to help out when his staff was busy. Bathroom was very clean even though it was later at night and busy. Overall, I would whole heartedly recommend.

we wanted to have a Hungarian meal that wasn’t just a touristy goulash, checked table cloth predictable experience. This was the opposite - exceptional on every level. Great options, great service, great location, beautifully presented and amazing tastes sensations. We booked and were seated outside with fantastic people watching. We chatted with other tables and enjoyed every aspects of our meal. Wine was pricey but well chosen with the staff recommendation being spot on. We had a starter and main and that was too much food for tow guys who can eat a lot.
