KONA Steak & Seafood was voted the "Best New Restaurant" winner on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula for 2023. Located in the popular Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, just minutes from Carmel, Pacific Grove, & all Peninsula cities.
A fabulous menu! Enjoy fresh seafood, lobster, Hawaiian loco moco, fresh ahi tuna, a great bacon cheeseburger, bone-in rib eye, miso-glazed seabass, filet mignon, macadamia nut crusted halibut, entree salads, cioppino, seafood pasta, Maui onion soup, coconut curry soup, and a large host of enticing appetizers. Enjoy KONA's generous portions, good value, & free abundant parking! The house baked desserts are worth a trip on their own..... incredible!! The gorgeous "ZenDen Bar" features full bar & "Tiki Bar" style concoctions curated with house made ingredients, and nightly Happy Hour from 3:00-9:00pm. This was by far better than I expected. The ambiance was a vibe, the food was great. The service was exceptional. The pricing was worth every penny. I had the best time celebrating my birthday. We will be returning.

Kona has an excellent menu to choose from. The service was fine, however the waitress charged me for a glass of house wine, that I didn’t order. I examined by tab and pointed out the charge to the waitress. The charge was taken off my tab.

Great service from our waitress and the staff, large menu with lots of options for everyone, great cocktails, and good food in generous portions. Kona is a place you can take your family and everyone will be happy. It's a fun place that transports you to Hawaii, even if it's only for an hour or two. I will continue to return to this cheerful restaurant that is not only conveniently located with lots of parking, but a pleasure to visit.

Wonderful service. Delicious meal! Amazing atmosphere! You will not be disappointed! Meals are beautiful and a perfect portion! Save room for dessert all are good!!!

Always greeted with a warm smile and a welcome. The service is second to none and the food is always amazing. Today we ordered one of the Easter specials, beef stroganoff, we also ordered the chicken rice bowl, and the seafood linguine combo. Reservations are not required however they are encouraged, I always make my reservations through the OpenTable app. Very easy to navigate and your table is ready when you get there. Whether you’re shopping in Del Monte shopping center or simply looking for a restaurant that has the best service and food on the Monterey Peninsula, make sure you stop by Kona’s today✝️

3rd time eating here. Food was lacking flavor again and the fish was overcooked again. For the price you pay there shouldn’t be these types of issues consistently.
