Bad customer service

We all had a good time, but we were seated next to the entrance door. We weren’t sure why it wasn’t locked. It was windy and cold the entire time

The service was excellent. The menu is unique and just about anyone could find something they would enjoy.
At the risk of sounding old, the volume of the music was so loud we (and other groups as well) could barely hear each other. The staff was quick to address the situation.

Went for brunch with friends on Sunday, food was great and the bottomless mimosas were excellent.
5-6 different flavors to choose from, can’t beat that!

Good food. Attentive server. Went there for sushi. The selection did not disappoint. He items I never had before. This is due to the fact that the selection is innovative and not available other places.

one order came to the table completely cold, must have been sitting out for over 15 minutes. They did take the order back and provided a new dish and nice discount, but sort of ruins the meal when 3 of 4 have food and are eating without the 4th

We sampled a few appetizers - recommend the rib eye meatballs! Sashimi was lovely too!

Went to dinner with 2 of my girlfriends and ended up dining for 3 hours. Our server did not rush us at all and we felt very safe while dining.

Our server Niki was great. I felt very comfortable with her and she was attentive to our dinner. I would love to have her as our server the next time we are at Kona Grill.

So generous to give our birthday girl a most delicious dessert free of charge. So appreciated your generosity.

Went to Kona for their Happy Hour and has very pleased with the selection and quality on their HH menu. I will definitely come back for the great experience.

Great spot. Wasn’t at all crowded, it had a decent noise level where I could talk comfortably, great good and very helpful service.

My wife and I decided to try out Kona Grill for the first time Friday night. We made reservations for 8:00 and requested standard seating. When we arrived we were sat at a high top, which is fine but not what we ideally wanted. The atmosphere was fun with lots of colors, live dj, fish tanks, and a contemporary style. The waitress was pleasant as well and informative.

Everything else was not so good. The drinks were below average, I had the Electric Lemonade, which tasted like UV Blue was poured into a martini glass. The only lemon about the drink seemed to be the lemon peel that the bartender placed into the drink. Our drinks arrived about 5 minutes before our food did.

The food was average as I had the prime rib french dip and my wife had the chopped salad with grilled chicken. Some of this may be on me as I should have ordered something more "in line" with most of the menu. The bread was dried out, meat quality seemed average, and "russet chips" are just greasy potato chips. I know local bars that make their own chips so I expected something similar with this meal. The chopped salad doesn't even come close to Wildfire's for the same price.

A fun atmosphere to draw us and good service from our waitress but everything else was lacking when compared to other restaurants in the price range. There are four or five restaurants other I would rather go to (in this price range) before trying Kona again.

Great drinks! We love to come here for happy hour after work!

Unfortunately we found both the hostess and one of our waitresses very unfriendly during times. It would wax and wane. This was my first time here and I would not go again despite enjoying the food and ambience due to the service. Against already tighter wallets due to the pandemic, this was not worth the money if we are to be treated how we were.

We love Kona grill as my family is a big fan of sushi. The food and service are usually pretty good.

We like to get sushi and a mix of other items on the menu. It is also amazing they will make their sushi rolls with soy paper if requested.

The only drawback is we don’t go as often as with food and cocktails it gets too expensive with our family. The happy hour specials don’t include the spicy crunchy tuna roll, the wave roll and the shrimp spicy tempura appetizer anymore which are some of my favorites. My husband loves the Pad Tai, Kona stir fry and the kids love many of the sushi rolls, lettuce wraps and Moscow mules!

We will keep going back, just not as often!❤️

We kind of felt rushed to leave. But, overall it was a wonderful experience.

Servers were very polite and attentive! We enjoyed a table near the fire. Perfect date night!

The food is always good at Kona! It never disappoints!

Very noisy environment despite the fact that they are only supposed to run at 50% capacity during COVID.

Everything was good except the sides were tepid, the fish was hot.

Excellent dinner and service! Restaurant music was a touch on the loud side, but otherwise we had a great, much needed Date Night!

We came to Kona grill on a Friday night and we’re seated right away (made a reservation ahead of time). The service was very friendly, attentive, and prompt. The bartenders were very friendly and made our time very enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Bama roll and happy hour wine...perfect!

The chopped salad with salmon added was delicious, only word of caution, it is not chopped and had large leafy lettuce that was a challenge to eat during a business meeting.

It was cold but otherwise great.

We specifically requested to be seated at a table away from the kitchen pass when we booked the reservation; initially, the hostess tried to seat us at a table directly beside the kitchen pass & we had to request to be moved to a quieter table.

We were disappointed with the limited menu options for Valentine's Day; it would have been nice to know that the menu would be so severely limited ahead of time, but that was not communicated to us until we arrived & were seated.

I ordered a crunchy spicy tuna sushi roll as an appetizer and the pan-seared salmon with champagne fig glaze and cauliflower hash (on "special"), but neither of these dishes were particularly flavorful.

My fiancé ordered the Picasso sushi roll as the appetizer and the macadamia nut chicken entrée as his main course; he enjoyed his food much more than I enjoyed mine.

Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant as we have had excellent food and service here in the past (birthdays, date nights, etc.) however, I would not recommend going there on a holiday such as Valentine's Day.

All the service was very good but it should be noted that the meat this time was a little cold it was like they had already prepared it and they only reheated it this happened on February 14, previously I visited the place several times and the comfortable was always excellent but this time I did not have a very good experience
