    The food was terrible, but the service our waitress was PHENOMENAL!! She was very engaged and helpful throughout the menu but the food taste was HORRIBLE. If I come back it’s just for the vibes NOT THE FOOD!

    Corn bread was hard mac and cheese was cold and the food tasted like the fryer oil needed to be clean. This is our third time here and quality is definitely lacking. Even the collard greens didn’t have any meat like previous occasions. Everyone’s stomachs were upset after dinner!!

    The food was spectacular. Braised salmon was great, I would hard pass on the southern fried chicken; all the sides were great. The ambience is a nice in certain areas of the venue, other parts were very basic and kind of outdated. The part I didn’t like was the automatic 20% gratuity, for inattentive service; we were sat close to the bar where they distribute drinks and it was interesting to say the least to overhear the gossip amongst the servers talking about their guests and about one another. Even though the server we had was very poor quality, she shorted herself a much larger tip by adding a 20% gratuity for a 2 guest ticket.

    This place is a must try. The customer service never misses. The ambiance is a straight vibe, dinner date, ladies night, teen graduation celebration. It’s pretty dark so bring a ring light for photos. The food was good with a few items being a no for us. The lamb chops is especially good on Ladies Night $5 special. The honey fried chicken comes with four pieces and two sides. The Mac is creamy, the mash potatoes stole the show. The greens were not good and neither is the crab rice. The chicken pasta was also good and a large portion. The shrimp appetizer was a hit as well. Overall good experience 2nd time going and will be back.
