Upscale restaurant and kid friendly which is a rare combination. We celebrated our 13 year old son’s birthday. Service and food were outstanding as always.
Parking is a breeze with garage and complimentary valet. We had a reservation and was taken to our seat promptly. Waitress was very nice and personable. Unfortunately, we did a lot of waiting. 645 reservation and only received our main course over an hour later. Pakora was excellent- best i’ve ever had. Mango lassi as well. Naan and curries were okay. We ordered the bison meatballs and the punjabi thali. I’ve definitely had tastier indian food for less money. I think the non traditional foods with indian twist would’ve been more worth the cost.
This was my first time at the new location & everything was fantastic!! Our server was so knowledgeable on the entire menu and she made great suggestions on quantity of food as well as describing various dishes to us!! We LOVED it all!!
You need longer straws for your mango lassis. djfh
We all loved every dish we were served and can't wait to get back to try more!
Great experience. Started with complimentary valet parking, which is a nice extra. We were seated quickly and first impressions were great. Nice table settings, oil candle, nice place mats and high quality glassware. Everything was polished and looked nice. Sets you up for a nice dinner. The service was prompt and very professional. Since it was our first time, the server (Stella) quickly explained the menu to us. Its so refreshing to have professional wait staff. The food was excellent, fresh, and timed very well. We noticed the chef coming out and greeting customers several times - pretty cool. Overall, a great experience. We will def be back.
Definitely worth the time to go! It delivers in every level and exceeds expectations
We returned after a very unpleasant previous visit. Fortunately, we had an outstanding experience all around
I wanted to go some place new for my birthday, so a friend and I finally decided to check out Kiran's. All I can say is why did we stay away from this place for so dang long? They pulled out all the stops to make sure I had a wonderful birthday experience. It was absolutely fabulous. The gorgeous decor, the friendly staff and their exceptional service, the lovely atmosphere, and, most importantly, the delicious, upscale Indian food! I hope to return to them real soon.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Houston!
We were craving great Indian food and Kiran’s hit the mark. All the food we ordered was outstanding. We especially liked the onion Serrano naan.
The thanksgiving menu was sumptuous and delicious. The food arrived promptly. The server seemed to be in a hurry to move the pace along even though there were many empty tables around us. Spoons for dessert came before we finished our entrees, and the check arrived before dessert was finished. The table wasn’t even cleared when we left. There was also a lot of loud chatter among servers with vacuuming of a nearby room. Considering that this is a fine dining and pricey restaurant, service could be more polished.
Fantastic Food, not my first time and certainly not my last.
The Thanksgiving lunch was absolutely outstanding.
It was amazing. Food was very delicious. Would def come back
I have had dinner every time at Kiran when I’m in Houston. Todays experience with food was not up to the par. The chicken tandoori was very dry and the naan were not fresh. I’m guessing Kiran was not there today and some other chef might have made the food as never had bad experience with food at this restaurant.
Calamari so good I can’t eat it elsewhere
Food was fantastic. Comfy seating. Very much upscale feel.
For no apparent reason a movie was being shown on one wall of the dining room...bad quality, grainy, subtitled, odd scenes of romance, fistfights, etc. Service was somewhat inattentive, maybe because of the current shortage of service industry workers they were short-handed. Still, although our drink order was taken immediately, two glasses of wine arrived about twenty minutes later. At that point our server took our order. Food arrived in another twenty minutes. Finished our wine mid-dinner, had to order a second glass from a busboy who brought us water as our waiter didn't return with the wine for another twenty minutes -- after we had finished our meal and were waiting for the check.
It's a pricey place, and the food is really excellent, but at those prices the service should be as good as the food.
Went to celebrate a special family birthday and heard great things. The food was tasty but the portions were quite small and indeed not shareable. We were having to break a tiny foie gras into unenjoyable morsels, same with the curries. It was a tiny half a cube of chicken for $35+ dollars. Was hoping for more but the taste was great!
Excellent; The Naan based Pizza was very good !!!
Family had excellent time
Our server was great, food as always delicious
There is a large selection and everything is delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable with excellent service.
Dining at Kiran’s is delightful. We had the rack of lamb, it was perfectly cooked and delicious.
I reserved a table for 4 with one vegetarian, the vegetarian dishes especially dal makhani wasn’t up to the mark. Ambience was great, it was a little noisy as our table was right in the middle of a busy hall room.
Great place for Afternoon Tea/High Tea
Love this place! Food wonderful! Great bartender’s!
Expensive but excellent
Delicious, flavorful, man options, fresh! Will be back
Very nice experience
Always such an amazing experience at Kiran’s. The waiter recommended the Delhi Chaat, which was beyond delicious! Still got our usual mushroom and feta samosas as well. The seafood curry was so good and the tandoori chicken. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
You had only one server in the area where I was. I remember you use to give some sauces since the beginning. The waiter only gave us mint sauce for the kebabs.
Service was slow. Staff had to be hunted down constantly. Great restaurant but if you come with those expectations and I’m a hurry then you’ll be ok.
This is a proper tea! The food is absolutely exquisite. Service is outstanding. We had a really good time, lady’s wear your fascinators it’s so much fun.
It’s always the best!
Food and service was great!
Delicious—-perfectly flavored, spicy but not overwhelming. We loved it. Will definitely be back !
This time everything was up to speed, we enjoyed dinner with our friends. will return.
Possibly the most salt we’ve ever tasted in a meal, terrible headache the next morning , no it wasn’t the alcohol, we had two glasses of wine all evening. The quality of the food, ex salt, was great , there’s an easy fix it would seem.
Service was fantastic!
The waiter was too pushy with trying to sell us more food
