Very good food and a nice ambiance!
Fantastic food and service! I’ll be back 😁
Food and service are always outstanding
Proper Indian food, highly quality food, service outstanding. The restaurant ambient is spectacular.
Great food and service! Love this place!! I drive in from the Woodlands and will continue to because I love their food!
Fantastic food and a great wine list. Ronaldo was our server and he was a great professional.
Date night with hubs and our first visit and Kiran’s definitely lived up to all our friends recommendations- we will be returning soon!!
Excellent food and service. Put favorite cuisine is from the main à la carte menu. Sometimes set menu for special occasions can be a little tricky for those on specific diet. But still a great restaurant and experience!
You always worry about a restaurant switching locations / equipment that something would be "lost in the move" to the new place. Well this place does not follow that old saying at all. Chef Kiran's food is still amazing as always, there is such depth of flavors and complexity to her dishes that make her stand out in our restaurant rich city. This is our 4th time dining at this location, the latest being this past Friday for Valentine's Day.... so the other "worry" as a patron is to go to a place with a "set" menu for a special occasion - maybe you will miss the true essence of the restaurant as they prepare the same dishes to be pumped out all night as the "specials"... Again, Kiran's delivered a very nice full rounded "set menu" that still highlighted her true mastery of Indian cuisine and as previously noted, everything was delicious.
I visited this place for the first time on Valentine’s Day after hearing so much about it. I didn’t realize they had an extremely limited and pricey prefixed menu. The quality of food was also sub par in my opinion. This did not feel like an Indian restaurant at all and the food didn’t help that claim either. There was also live music with a man singing in Spanish and Italian.
Always guaranteed a great meal at Kiran’s. The Chilean sea bass is cooked to perfection. Best I’ve ever had. Lamb shank was a bit too spicy for me. Saffron soup was delicious and dessert was beautiful and delicious. Our fav place for celebrations.
I have been a patron of Kiran’s for a long time. I make it a point to go there when I am in Houston. This was my first visit to the new location. I found it ostentatious, missing some of the prior classy ambiance. The food was slightly on the bland side and the service could be better. I waited a while before I was attended to. I will try them again as it could be that they were off their top notch performance for the night. I was there at 9.15 PM on a Thursday night. Even on a day they were off slightly, they were a lot better than a good Indian restaurant.
My wife and I booked Kiran's for a pre-Valentine's Day meal. We loved the food, and the cocktails, but our waiter put a damper on the evening.
He was curt and dismissive of us, while being seemingly chatty with other guests. It seemed so strange - we didn't even get an introduction (I had to ask him his name, after he had delivered our mains). After delivering our food, he ignored our table. Neither of us can figure out why he was so disdainful.
In contrast, the rest of the wait staff were fantastic. The atmosphere is good, and the food is genuinely excellent.
The food was outstanding. I would classify it as upscale Indian dining. You can still get traditional..but try something new. My daughter is a vegetarian and said it was the best Indian she has ever eaten!
The owner was in and made a point of going to each table to check on her guests..all staff were attentive.
The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful inside. We will be back
Beautiful dining experience. Highly recommend the samosas, chicken masala, and spinach paneer. I'll have to go back to try dessert!
I invited 9 ladies for a Book Club meeting. We had a nice table conducive to discussion. Our food and service was outstanding and the restaurant is gorgeous.
Valets were friendly too. Overall a great day. No one wanted to leave!
An incredible experience! I will never eat at an Indian restaurant again without thinking of and comparing to Kiren’s, unfortunately...
Chai tea very good, food nice, scones like I had in England. Enjoyable all around.
By far, the best afternoon tea in the city.
Always exceptional and innovative cuisine with both a modern and traditional flair. Impeccable service. Creative menu. Outstanding presentation. Varied and interesting wine list by glass
Lovely location and the food was delightful!
Food and service are always great!! Jeremy is wonderful.
Even for someone who hasn’t been exposed to Indian food, this place is wonderful. All of the food is really tasty and in large servings. The waiter was very helpful in explaining anything we didn’t understand and everybody loved their order
The food was ok but too expensive. Four of us with two small appetizers, four cups of day soup, four main courses (3 sea bass and 1 shrimp) cost $400.00.
Lunch was perfect!
Our server Ronald did a perfect job, his recommendations were on point and service was outstanding!
Highly recommend to go for lunch to Kiran’s. Ask for Ronald.
Best Indian food we have ever had... seriously
We had to wait for 40 mins inspite of having a reservation. The server was very courteous though. The food was good but quite pricey. Overall it was a mixed experience.
Entertaining family from out of town
Absolutely incredible experience. The food, service and ambiance were amazing. Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Will definitely return.
We have been there 10 times this place is a winner!
Great menu selections, delicious food and stellar service!
We have bee
I am only giving the "3" in service due to a minor mishap with leftovers - I was given someone else's leftovers on my way out the door in place of my own! Luckily, the leftovers were just as wonderful as the meal I'd originally had. I'd love to go back and try more of the menu; it's pretty extensive and so many items looked delicious! Great location in a relatively quiet neighborhood - perfect for alone time or a date.
Heard and read a lot about Kiran’s but the food was tad disappointing- compared to East coast Indian restaurants like Junoon, Tamarind, Yellow Chilli.
last time I went to Kiran’s they were still on Westheimer. Food was excellent, service great and the place was very classy. Chef came by and wished us a good evening as we were leaving. Biriyani (sp?), butter chicken and appetizers were spot on. Definitely be back again.
Always awesome. Best Indian dining in Houston
Fabulous food and ambiance. Service was exceptional.
Elegant and cozy atmosphere with attentive, courteous yet noninteruptive service staff. Food was excellently menued, prepared and presented with specific requests and substitutions handled seamlessly with no fuss. Perfect lunch venue for catching up with old friends.
