    Love the ambience of this place. Our first time eating in the outdoor garden. In the past we ate inside---very loud but lovely. My pork chop special was just OK. Not enough of a sauce---for me it is all about the sauce. The drinks were great, Our friends had the fish which is always good. It is a very expensive restaurant---too much so but guess they are catering to the Landfall crowd and Figure 8 Island.

    What a beautiful restaurant! If we lived here, I would be there every week. The food was excellent and our server was very sweet. She even gave us a few realtor friends when we told her we were thinking of moving to the area. Definite must go!

    Bar tender great. Quick service, excellent drinks and pleasant 40 minutes before dinner. Staff accommodated our request for a nice light filled table. My second time at Kipos and I plan to go there every time I am in Wrightsville/Wilmington.

    Absolutely delicious food. Bartender made excellent suggestions before we were seated. We ate outside, traffic noise a little louder than we like but the aesthetics far outweighed that.

    Remarkable find, great food, appearance, low noise level. Top that off with a friendly, courteous and professional waitress, Sammi, and it was a perfect way to jointly celebrate our daughter-in-law’s and my birthday! All four of us were well pleased with the experience.

    We specifically selected Kipps for our 40th wedding anniversary. We knew we would have excellent food, drinks and ambience. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the vegetables cooked correctly. The Siren’s Song cocktail was perfect, perfect sweetness and hint of lime tang. We had a lovely evening. Kipo is a keeper

    Outstanding is an understatement! The ambiance, the fresh and delicious foods, the extraordinary service, the cocktails and wine pairings, everything and more. It truly felt like we were transported to a Mediterranean family dinner. Jeff Martino hand picked choices from the menu that allowed us to enjoy the very best of their wine list and savor so many different taste profiles. I can’t wait to for my next visit!

    Great dinner at a very nice patio table. Since I was unfamiliar with the Greek wines, we tried two different selections that were recommended by server and both were very good as were the salads and entree. The grouper was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. Good choice for fine dining experience.

    Food was pretty average. Nothing was seasoned. The kids pastas were downright unacceptable. Service was lackluster and inattentive. Not sure if because we were a family the waitress couldn’t have been bothered because she was way more attentive to the tables without kids next to us.

    You can't make a restaurant exceed your expectations. It's on them, and they either succeed or they don't. Kipos and team met and exceeded all expectations we could have had for our anniversary celebration dinner. Truly incredible dining experience on par with some of our favorite spots in South Africa. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

    Beautiful place. Fun ambiance. Food was good. Service needs a little bit more polishing. Food runners would just kind of toss the dishes in front of you and say nothing. Our server was nice and attentive. But at the end when my boyfriend was finished eating, our server cleared his plate and gave us the check, which we didn’t ask for. We were going to order another drink and dessert. Never asked us if we wanted anything else. Our entrees took quite a bit of time after appetizers, but we didn’t really mind because we were enjoying ourselves. The check thing at the end was a bit rude and disappointing.

    The maitre d recommended the main dining room which did have a table but we'd heard the garden was beautiful so chose the room with a view of the garden (it was raining in the actual garden!). Everything was wonderful...my first tzatziki which started us off, my first Greek savignon blanc to accompany my grouper which was not disappointing. I had wanted to order the catch of the day--Mediterranean Sea Bass which comes whole but with no one to share it with, I'll have that next time! Can't wait for next time!

    We all had the grilled catch of the day and it was outstanding. Our server, Hannah. Provided outstanding service as well. My only complaint is the head hostess new the people at the table next to us and made repeated visits to their table. The acoustics are not great and as she stood over their table talking it was as if she was shouting at our table. She made at least 8 visits and even brought a man over to introduce and he made a second visit. It was very annoying and while I could understand a couple of visits to check the number of visits she made was excessive. It spoiled an otherwise fabulous experience.

    The Kipos dining experience is amazing from beginning to end. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the ambiance is over the top gorgeous and calming and the food was outstanding! We took a walk into the outdoor dining gardens and we look forward to going back once the weather gets a little cooler. Their outdoor bar garden is perfect for grabbing some appetizers and listening to live music on Fridays & Saturday nights from 9-12. Thank you Kipos for another unforgettable dining experience !

    This was our first visit to Kipos. All terrific: Service, noise level, decor and comfort, and all menus items for our party of 4 were delicious. I had the short ribs and they were fork tender…perfect.

    This was my 4th dining experience in this beautiful restaurant. And it was much different from my previous visits which were excellent.. It was a Sunday evening. The service was super slow. They did not have the wine we desired.They were out of the entree we were hoping for. The Brussel sprouts were cold and tough. Our salmon was ordered rare and it was overcooked. It will take me a while to return. And as empty as the restaurant was the noise level is uncomfortable.

    We sat in the garden room, which is more quiet and intimate than the main dining room/bar area which can tend to get a little loud. Our appetizer was the Tsaziki with crudite and pita, it was very tasty. I ordered the seafood stew (Kakavia?) I think that's the greek word for that on the menu, it was delicious! My husband ordered the whole Branzino which was perfectly filleted table side by Josh our excellent server! Elegant and lovely dinner!

    We came here for our anniversary. Having worked in the industry we try not to be picky so this isn't a critical review, more so just some advice for the management team. We noted in our reservation we were celebrating 2 years, chose the garden for it's ambiance, but we were sat at the smallest table in the direct hot sunlight and there were at least 8 other tables open and flies everywhere. It was very uncomfortable and we were not given another option to move. Our server seemed new which was fine but wasn't able to help us with our wine recommendations. Our apps the octopus and taziki were amazing (will come back based on those alone). We came here for specific dishes as I have allergies and after we spent $100 we were told those dishes were not available so we decided to head out. Would of preffered to hear specials at the beginning along with what the kitchen was out of. Again food was good, but our experience overall and celebrating our anniversary could have been a bit better. They did treat us to a desert for the inconvenience, however, I have allergies so was not able to enjoy it. I'm sure we'll be back to give it a second chance.

    Not what it once was. Food still great but crowd was loud, unpolished. Service was not good. Feel for the chef. Great food but the rest diminishes it all. Too expensive to feel like a nite club. Shame

    Great authentic Greek restaurant. Beautiful ambiance both inside and out. Being of Greek decent I appreciate real Greek food and this food was delicious. We had a great bottle of wine as well. Our waiter was very informative and the service was great. We truly had a wonderful time and plan on bringing our daughter for dinner there in the future

    We took my mother-in-law to Kipos for her birthday. Everything was perfect...food, service, atmosphere. Can't wait to return when it's a little cooler, to enjoy the outside area. Looks beautiful!
