Amazing service, food was wonderful!..... I went there for my birthday and the waiting staff made me feel very special :)
Great deal, great flavoured food. Really good for a gathering with friends and loved ones. The whole experience made it an enjoyable dinner with colleagues - they loved it too!
Hard to find Yakiniku in the UK but this was a great example and definitely go for the premium US meats! Really enjoyed our meal.
Very nice experience to be with the familY or friends, would go back again
Super! Idea divertente. Carne e versure ottimi. Servizio cordiale. Da italiani forse eravamo un po’ sopra i toni, rispetto agli aktri tavoli
Nice vibe. Don’t be put off by the quiet upstairs are - all the action is downstairs. Food was excellent and staff were friendly.
Great meal - good gzoya and nibbles to start and then a barbecue feast that we cooked at the table. Very nice waitress as well.
Kin Tan is the best restaurant ever! Sadly I’leaving London in a couple of days and Kin tan is the place I’ll miss the most! I’ve been there around 20 times and I only know about it for 2 months now!! The ambiance, the food!! The people! Everything!
Thank you Kin tan, I’ll see you soon!
The Korean guy who served us was really accommodating. He explained the menu really well and he was very patient with us while we decide what to order. The food is really nice as well although I don’t really like the spicy pork because it’s too sweet but overall, my experience is really good.
Our server Rai had nice smile, friendly and professional, other staff were great too. Food was amazing as always. We tried Taiyaki for dessert and it was a good choice as well. Will return again soon. Highly recommended!
Really lovely lunch and Happy Hour prices made it even better. Food was all great, staff were efficient, beer was delicious.
We are having Buffet, food quality is very good and tasty. But in term of serving, the serving time is very slow and heating system is not fast as they could. But overall is very ok.
Was an excellent Yakiniku restaurant. Food quality was great! Will definitly be returning. The let down was the set menu we ordered didn't have the desert (Smoors) available but the manager was very kind and gave us a discount off the bill at end for this. So all in all a great experience.
Wonderful food as always,
Only toilets were a bit dirty - just needs a bit more regular cleaning
Good，but service charge were a little bit expensive and the service is okay.
Food and service were good. Although had to wait for a good 20 mins even after making a reservation. They don’t really have ventilations for all the bbq smokes. Our clothes ended up smelling so beefy after dinner. Not suitable for dinner before a night out.
We have already tried out kintan at Holborn branch and loved it. So we thought why not try out the oxford branch. It’s still a lovely Bbq experience. However since we came at 9pm. There wasent much of a table service who was as attentive. However we still enjoyed our food and love the Happy hour!
Happy Hour and 241 deal is definitely good.
My fiance and I were recommende this restaurant.
When we arrived there was noone in the reception/bar which was strange. When the chap eventually arrived there was no apology or anything he just took us to our table with very little interest of sense of quality service. He just seemed upset and didn't want to be there. Not a very nice greeting or good first impression.
It was pretty fun but the waitress never looked at our table when she walked past (we sat in a corner) so every time we wanted a drink I had to shout over the extremely loud rock music (I think you should play japanese music and a bit calmer. Particularly as it was sunday night) to get her attention. And it took ages to get our drinks. I had to ask twice when they would come. Then I saw them on the bar and considered going to take them myself but the waitress finally saw them and brought them to us.
We ordered a cocktail but we were told they couldn't make it so we ordered a glass or rose instead. But when the bill came, the cocktail was included. We asked for it to be removed and they had to give us the refund in cash.
I thought the food was ok (we had the ninja) but there was a definate lack of vegetables. It just seemed to be quite a lot of just meat with a very uninspiring bowl of cabage.
We had quite a fun time though which was entirely due to the theatre and fun of cooking ourselves. The service, however, was really lacking.
The ventilation design very poor, very smelly from head to toe.
We went to celebrate our mother in laws birthday, and we all enjoyed it very much. The food was amazing, the vibes of the restaurant and staff were really great. We have my 1 year old with us and they had provided a high chair the only downside I would say is not having a baby changing area.. you can’t have one thing and not the other so that was a disappointment. But overall food and restaurant amazing.
Excellent food and service. We had an option for 2 people which adequately fed 3. Perfect. Thank you
Chinese waitress was so rude. Set menu was poor quality! Very expensive!!
Overpriced even in Happy Hour. The food was like 6/10.
This is my sixth time dining in Kintan and every time is just as good as the last. It just never ceases to impress me. The choice of food and the value is amazing and it creates such a social vibe because you all have to grill your food on the same grill so it’s a great atmosphere. Would recommend this without a doubt to everyone. One of, if not my favourite place to eat out.
Had a really nice experience and all staff very friendly and helpful
Great quality meats, however portion size was on the small side.. flavours were delicious especially the small starters.. dips cost £1 each would be nice if they were part of the meal. Beers ok selection.. nice atmosphere
Went for a birthday meal, went during happy hour and for the two of us came to just under £130.00 though we were enjoying some of the more premium meats. This is our go to restaurant when we visit London and already can’t wait to go again!
The style of the restaurant is excellent! The meats and vegetables available to order are all well-prepared and the staff are good at advising how to cook your food.
We had dinner last time , group of 6 people. Maria served us, super lovely! Everything with a smile and food wise was perfect.
We’ll be back for sure
Really nice food quality and local taste. Loooove it!!!!!!
Love this restaurant, outstanding food and great concept.
Great food, excellent service. It's a lovely place to eat whether taking children, going out as a couple or in a large group!
Nice food as always, but as it was so busy, drink didn't come for a while and the customer service was pretty bad. Very disappointing..
First time having this type of dinner and it was very interesting. The food was good. We will definitely come back.
Too pricey and seem staff to busy to serve us.
Waited for morevtgann20 mins for first orders served
Good value for money. Food was good but getting the attention of waitress/waiter wasn't the easiest thing. Overall it was good, esp there are many Yakiniku in the south.
If you are looking for a Yakiniku restaurant, the kind you find in Tokyo, you will not be disappointed!
What a find! We went to Kintan with another family of 4 after my friend found it on a cheap eats listing - and we were delighted to find it is as delicious as it is cheap. Kintan is a BBQ joint, where you cook your own meat at the table - but far from being the gimmicky, overpriced tourist trap that so many of these places are, the food is excellent and the range of menu options is outstanding. There is an excellent range of BBQ items, all tasty and easy to cook well - my personal favourite was beef with a garlic butter that you heat on the grill and dip chunks of meat in. The sides were delicious, especially the bipimbap and the garlic noodles. A great value BBQ menu gives you a starter each, plus 2 or 3 BBQ items and a side. There's also a good kids' menu - and needless to say the kids loved grilling their own meat (and chips and edamame and fingers...!). And at the end of an epic feast, the bill came to less than £25 per head including drinks. Highly recommended.
Service was very slow.
