Located at 110 Harbour Street (Unit 108B), just steps away from the CN Tower, Air Canada Centre and Harbourfront Centre, KINKA IZAKAYA Harbourfront is a bustling location in the heart of Toronto’s energetic Harbourfront neighbourhood, full of popular destinations for both locals and tourists.

Known for its bustling atmosphere, energetic staff and unique menu of Japanese tapas, KINKA IZAKAYA is a favourite among the diverse crowd of both locals and tourists in Toronto and Montreal. A pioneer of the izakaya dining experience in Canada, KINKA IZAKAYA first opened in the winter of 2009, introducing Toronto to the world of Japanese pubs. Featuring an extensive drink menu, dishes at KINKA IZAKAYA can be paired with a selection of refreshing beers, premium sake and Japanese-inspired cocktails.

    Food and service incredible. But was the noisiest restaurant that I have ever been in. Had to yell across the table. It could be solved by installing some absorbers in the ceiling possibly.

    I had the tasting menu which were great! My server was super attentive and explained all the food really well. I would definitely come back!

    The gluten free options were very limited which already made the experience a bit disappointing. Only what was available on the menu and nothing else. The sushi was ok nothing special and for that price we could have gone to much better and igher quality restaurants. So overall it was good but nothing special and therefore I wouldn't go back.

    Hello I’m very dissatisfied with the food choice.the Church branch had a better menue.as for parking no discount. The staff service was great. I will not be coming back. Thank you.

    We reserved two tables and the restaurant was accommodating enough to reserve the two tables beside each other. Celebrated my birthday with a slice of matcha cheesecake courtesy of Kinka. Food came in fast and delicious. Thank you.

    I honestly don’t understand how this place has such good reviews. From the moment we were seated, the service was inattentive. The server asked if we wanted our mains and sides served together, and we said yes — yet everything came out separately. When I asked about it, I got a vague “oh, it’s coming” and they walked away. No water refills, no check-ins. The food itself was a bigger disappointment. The freshness didn’t even compare to what you’d get at a neighborhood budget sushi place, but the prices were far from budget. Even the payment process was slow and disorganized. No plans to return.

    We always have a great experience at KINKA. The food is delicious and our server was attentive and was great with recommending things to try. We had a girls night out to catch up and overstayed our time. But they were very generous and kind to us.
