It exceeded our expectations. Random find on Open Table which turned out to be wonderful. Great food, great music and great ambiance. Definitely would recommend. Great for really any type of group from couples to families. Our three year old daughter had a blast at the amazing music by Havy.
The food was good, but not great! We were inside and one se
Dry aged filet and rib eye were on the menu. It’s so unusual to see 30+ day dry aged beef, we both ordered the filet. I saw the prices before we ordered, so I wasn’t shocked at $50@ but the filets were not completely trimmed and we both had muscle to deal with. We both ordered medium rare and both got RARE. Finally, I had expected the beef to be flavorful but it was no different than a regular filet.
The rest of the menu looked interesting. I regret my choices that (with one glass of wine and no dessert) came to $150
Branzino dish was very tasty. Live band on patio.
We had a great time sitting on the patio. Food was awesome.
Sorry to say this was not nearly as good an experience as we had there a week ago. Service was extremely slow but I must add that it was not the fault of the server as they were very understaffed. We ordered a bottle of wine that was not brought to our table until we were finished with our meal. We enjoy relaxing with our drinks and our meals so we are not prone to complain about a wait but the drinks, food and the check were all painfully slow. Thankfully we had great live music to enjoy while we waited but even that couldn’t compensate for this debacle.
The Lobster Tacos were Amazing...
The Pulled pork was just as Great (another visit!)
Outdoor seating can get Very loud when the band is performing.
Indoor seating is very limited and is small.
Still worth the trip.
One of the owners was present and made sure everything was perfect.
I will return..
We sat at the bar as the table they sat us at was super small and on the end of main isle so we asked to sit at their new bar which is great! The bartender waited on us immediately and she was super sweet. She offered their Valentines Day martini which she called "Valentini". It was very good. I had one before and after dinner! We then ordered dinner. My husband noticed an area on their menu about their dry aged steaks so he asked the bartender about the sizes. He ordered the 7.7oz filet with a side of mashed potatoes. I ordered the prime rib which was okay. I ordered it medium rare and it was more so well done but I still ate it. Now we got our bill and the 7.7oz steak was $70! The side of mashed potatoes was extra. I was completely shocked that the $70 didn't include a side and not sure why it was $70. Evidently dry aged it high price? We didn't say anything as it was our bad we didn't get pricing when we ordered. We will definitely be back but won't be ordering the filet as it wasn't worth $70. They did give all ladies a little dessert with a bite sized cake and strawberry which was a sweet touch for Valentines Day.
On a side note, I love their French Onion soup and Caribbean steak tacos so I'll go back to those our next visit!!
I enjoyed the loaded tostones, empanadas and the combination dessert. My partner had the Ybor Cuban and thought it was average. She thinks they forgot the mustard. It was a tad pricey for lunch...our bill was a little over $50. I would go back though.
Lobster tacos and drunken shrimp were excellent. Douse loved the meatloaf. The Cuban beef fish was ok
Food came out cold from kitchen, service slow. Air-aged steak was very dry and over-cooked, definitely not worth the price! No variety from menu, kitchen unwilling to make exceptions. Nice outside patio. Drinks were good, appetizer was good.
Amazing food and atmosphere! Loved the fire pit tables outside!
Our meals were exceptionally creative, fresh and delicious. Will be returning soon.
We always enjoy the quality and selection of food here.
I loved everything about Kings Kitchen, well, almost everything. The food, music and atmosphere eye absolutely incredible. However, we were seated outside at one of the tables that have a fire pit right in the middle. While the fire pit was not the problem, the seating at these paricular tables was literally back braking. My friends and I had a back ache for over a day.
Excellent eclectic food in a much needed area. Will be back to try other menu items
We had the absolute best time! I wish I remembered our servers name but he was absolutely amazing! Gave us the best recommendations for food/drink and was wildly attentive. The vibe was super welcoming and the life music was a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone that is traveling to Fort Myers! I feel like Fort Myers is full of chain restaurants so this is a huge breath of fresh air!
The food was excellent. The service was perfect and the staff (including the owner) were so helpful with my food allergy/dietary restriction. This is definitely a restaurant that we will keep coming back to :)
The food is amazing. The service was top notch and the atmosphere made the meal with friends special. Will be back on a regular basis
Was terribly disappointed in the service AND the food. The outside seating was nice... until the “live” band (with pre-recorded vocals started blaring.
7pm reservation, didn’t get sat til about 745. Many people with same issue. Service was less than average.
Food and service was incredible! Crispy lobster tacos were outstanding! Live music was nice and outdoor seating was cozy with torches and fire pit. Cannot wait to go back!
Dined outside on the patio.
Very nice.
Delicious food and scrumptious deserts, will visit again
GREAT food and atmosphere. My secret go-to location to stay away from the tourists!
Food was great but music was way too loud ! Could not hear each other at table and we were at furthest table away. Appetizers were delivered on time but dinner service took too long. It’s was very crowded and it seemed staff was unprepared, waitress was flustered.
Excellent food, great server, good music, relaxed outdoor atmosphere.
We enjoyed an exceptional dinner with fabulous service.
I rarely review but my husband and I loved Kings kitchen. Large outdoor patio, looked great inside as well. Owner greeted us and checked back. I had sea bass tacos and my husband an authentic plantain, ground beef fish. Both excellent. Had ceviche as appetizer, wouldn't order again but good. We're already planning on going back!
This is our go to place. Great food at a great value. The French onion soup is the best we’ve had and their new taco dishes are the best in town!
What a surprise this place is! It’s a beautiful restaurant located in a gorgeous hotel. Go at night and walk the grounds. It’s simply magical. The service and the food at the restaurant were excellent. I had a filet mignon cooked to perfection. The terrace during these “winter nights” in Florida is magical. Really loved this restaurant and glad all staff was wearing masks. Looking forward to come back.
Always feel welcome here. Excellent service, amazing food and the outside firepits are perfect at night.
Our meals were delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere with the live music. Service was very good. Great spot.
Everything was great. The food is prepared freshly and served piping hot. One of our favorite restaurants. The outside dining is wonderful.
This was our first visit to King's Kitchen and Bar. It was recommended by a friend. We made a reservation through Open Table and we were pleasantly surprised. The outdoor seating is beautiful ... very cozy. It was lunch time, so we ordered the French onion soup and a salad. Both were incredibly good! We will be back!
Delicious food
Food and service was excellent. They ran out of mussels so hoping to get them next time.
Enjoyed the music on Tuesday night but at times a bit too loud.
Definitely worth the drive from Bonita Springs and will be back for sure!!
Creative menu, outdoor patio was fun and lively. Troublemaker wine was delish! The waitstaff was stretched thin but pitched in to help each other as did management. We'll be back!
Excellent food, great service, outdoor fire pit...love this place!
This was our 4th visit and is my husband’s favorite restaurant now. We love the outside dining and they keep making it better with adding large umbrellas as well as attractive lighting and shrubs.
