The food and service are excellent! But do not eat outside. The flies make it completely impossible to relax and enjoy the meal. I will definitely return, but only eat inside.

I am sorry to be writing a bad review of Kingfishers. Many people seem to think it’s great but our party of 7 had a very chaotic and unhappy experience. First of all we placed orders for cocktails which took forever to get and came in sporadically. My martini was actually warm. Our order for food was taken and salads arrived for some ahead of cocktails. One person’s entree came with her cocktail but the rest of us waited about 20 more minutes for entrees. Finally food started coming out one or two at a time. One person’s food ended up on the floor…ok accidents happen but then took another forever to get a replacement. I spoke to the manager who said his entree was redone and sent to another table. The manager comped his entree and one other tab as compensation but honestly that did not really make up for the bad experience. Ok so the food. What seafood restaurant only has drum(?) and salmon on the menu. No snapper, no grouper. Only steak was ribeye. No filet? I’m sorry but Kingfishers should look at their menu and make some changes. We were they for a birthday celebration but were never even offered dessert. Not going back.

When you drive into the parking lot you immediately see a beautiful building that is shaded by a very large and beautiful oak tree. The inside of the restaurant is even more impressive. The service was quick and efficient with great recommendations. The food was over the top with fettuccine pasta with crawfish, andouille sausage and shrimp. Jambalaya was loaded with more meat than rice! Appetizers of chargrilled oysters with pepper jack sauce and mozzarella bites!!! Everything was outstanding and the portions are HUGE! We will definitely go back to try the Po’Boys and homemade onion rings. The only negative is that they were out of a couple of wines and catfish. Definitely make reservations as there was a line to get in the entire time we were there.

I love everything about this restaurant. The location, the food, the service EVERYTHING! We sat on the patio. The fly fans on the tables were a game changer. Perhaps a fly trap light or some other environment friendly solution will help. I will definitely visit again.

Everything was great. The food was amazing and the service was quick and thoughtful. The food is pricy but well worth it. You get what you pay for. Everything was delicious. The portions are great and you won’t leave hungry. Great date spot.
