This was our second visit. Went back to try out their happy hour, which is totally worth it! Great food and cocktails. Fresh and delicious. We tried raw oysters, mussels, tuna tacos, and the kids Mac & cheese was amazing! Only wish they had a hazy IPA to offer. Deserts are huge! Fun atmosphere, but too loud for the kids inside. We will ask to sit on the patio next time.

I had an incredible time dining at the location in NoMa, I went in alone for the happy hour specials and Mahmut took excellent care of me! I will definitely be back :)

Came at 5pm, placed my food order around 5:50pm and did not get my food until 6:43pm! Food runners were absolutely all over the place and takin food to the wrong tables. It was an absolute ZOO in this place. Manager did not care to make sure customers needs were being met. Manager being a Caucasian male did NOT communicate with his employees that were people of color. You could tell he did not care about the over all experience with the guess. I had to walk up to him and tell him that’s it’s been over 40 minutes and I have yet to receive my food. He pretends as if he put my order in but nothing ever came. Nor did he come over to my table to give me an update. The bartender stop filling the ordered at 6:30pm even though drinks were placed way before. How can you stop making drinks with orders that were already placed just because happy hour is over??? Waiters are overwhelmed and you can clearly tell everyone is not on the same page nor does the manager support the employees. I will NEVER return to King Street Oyster Bar (Noma). It is an absolute unprofessional circus at this location. You can tell how uncoordinated they are and how they are divided as a staff because MANAGEMENT does not support their employees. The manager was too busy running his mouth at the front door instead of helping his staff fulfill the orders that were placed. No apologies on his behalf or check ins. He does not need to work in a predominantly black city if this is how he’s going to treat his employees and customers! Just down right nasty and rude!

Service is slow and inattentive. we waiting forever while they made iced tea which came out unfiltered and separated - very odd. Tuna didn’t seem fresh and was overcooked and salad was overdressed

I made a dinner reservation for the main dining room, and after checking in, we were seated in the bar where it was extremely noisy and cold since people kept going in and out of the door next to our seat. People were also smoking pot outside the door and every time the door opened you could smell it. I had to put down a credit card when we placed our order to open a tab when I had booked for dinner. Food was good but service was rushed. Just not the experience I was looking for.

Happy Hour is one of the best I have ever experienced. Food is great! Even when they are busy, drinks and food come out quickly. 10/10 would recommend.

King Street oyster bar is a staple in my neighborhood. I typically go here for their really HH specials and their fresh oysters so keeping that in mind going at 4 PM. There was a noticeable lack of attentive service because it seemed the entire outside patio had one waiter, and the food was also a little slow coming out considering it was HH smaller portions

The food is good. We hosted a business lunch for 8. Restaurant is not crowded at all. We told the manager it was one person in the group it’s his birthday. He said he will make sure to bring out a dessert. He either forgot or didn’t let the server know. Oh well. Better execution next time.
