   We were so disappointed. The restaurant was severely understaffed to handled the amount of guests. They should have informed us of this at the start, not apologie at the end. We had 5 people booked for 1 pm. Family Birthday occasion. Our orders were taken 20 minutes after sitting down, we had to chase our drinks order. Our food was 1 entree, 5 mains and 1 side dish. After 1 hour wait, we received 1 entree and 3 mains. 3 mains were cold and sent back to kitchen. 3 mains returned warm this time. We never received the 2 other mains or the side dish having waited till 3 pm and we wanted to leave. Apparently only 2 staff on in the kitchen and our order was not sent through correctly at the start. The person who made that mistake totally avoided us, and another lovely staff member tried their best to explain and appease us. It could have been fabulous but it wasn't. I felt sorry for 2 of the lovely staff members, but the 1 who made the mistake in the first place regarding our order didnt care at all. Surely experience equates to 5 people, therefore 5 drinks, 5 mains, plus entrees, plus sides, plus dessert or coffee. Other people came in after us, got their food, had eaten and left within the hour. Their wait staff was on the ball.

   Beautiful place very nicely renovated and really yummy food. Our group of 11 really had a good time

   The food was ok. However it is very clear from the second we walked in that it is under new management. We waited 25 minutes for 3 out of 4 drinks and the 4th arrived 10 minutes later. When it did arrive we had ordered a Guinness but it was clearly not a Guinness despite the waitress insisting that us what she pored, we found out after the meal she did In fact lie. We the had 3 starters arrive, which were lovely and the 4th arrived 20 minutes later after we asking twice where it was. The mains arrived and the roast of the day was a massive disappointment. Having eaten here many times over the years the roast has always been its signature meal, it came with frozen roast potatoes, pumpkins and peas, that was the only veg. Needless to say we will not be returning which is a shame as we loved it there!

   We loved the outdoor seating and we were very lucky to see a few birds including a kookaburra up close. Great kids meals and we love the Devonshire teas - they are a standout. This is one of our favourite places to have lunch/dinner in the Danedong Ranges. We will definitely be back.

   Yummy Devonshire tea. Wonderful scones, raspberry jam and real cream. Can’t wait to return.

   Amazing food, very tasty and delicious and staff very friendly. Our group all loved their dishes from kids to grandmas.

   The meal at the old worldly King Henry's was superb, good ole English grub, even with a nod to the bygone era by having prawn cocktails as a starter in original mollusc glassware was fantastic, a real throwback to the 70's. The food was absolutely large, in portions and n taste, I had the traditional roast pork, and my wife had bangers and mash. Absolutely wonderful interior dining spaces all over the place, and a fabulous set of paths to wander after you've eaten, in the beautiful Dandenong's and trees everywhere. 'One issue was that the cocktails were probably not their finest work, could have been better. Food delicious, Guiness in old fashioned glassware to a treat, desserts to die for. Great place for a visit.
