   The food was good! The atmosphere was good but we waited until 5 minutes before we left to get our drinks and we're still charged 30$ for mimosas. Ordered 3 milks and got two and the waitress said she would bring it right back and never came. Slow service. I think they underestimated how busy it would be and did not have enough staff. Not a great experience, probably would not go back.

   My friends and I meet for brunch on a monthly basis at different restaurants around town. None of us had ever been to Kindness before but I am so glad we tried it. We loved the location, atmosphere and selection on the Sunday brunch buffet and the flight of mimosas was great! I will definitely be back and will recommend Kindness to others!

   Not a welcoming place at all. First the hostess should try a smile and Good morning". Food was just OK as we remember the old Sunday buffets. Should have a chef actually cooking like omelets, slicing ham, etc. The fruit selection was poor and in general the entire selection of the buffet was limited. Very disappointed and will not return. Good luck.

   Was charged full price for a 3 year old--really? Three empty warming trays for most of the visit meant some of us missed some of the primary entrees completely. Had hoped for the lox tray that used to be a feature of the Owyhee buffet--that's gone. Food was only sort-of warm, nothing was hot. The pastries were good; the boursin eggs were tasty (even if only warm), and the bacon (I got the last two strips and it remained empty for the rest of the visit) was excellent, again, even if not nearly hot enough. The cheese selection was good. We might be back, but...there are lots of places to eat breakfast in Boise. I really wanted to be happier with this one, we used to love brunch at the Owyhee.

   Good downtown location with plenty of available parking on the backside of the Owyhee Hotel. Large south-facing windows, which will make day-time dining fun. Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent appetizer recommendations. The Harvest Soup with locally grown butternut squash was incredible. The Lobster Mac'n'Cheese was good and I was pleasantly surprised with a lobster claw on top. My wife had the vegetable burger. It was well prepared and presented, but the seasoning were not to her liking. We enjoyed our evening.

   We were unable to make reservations for more than 4 on Open Table so 4 is all that showed up for brunch and there were only two other tables occupied when we got there and two more tables showed up in the hour we spent at Kindness. I have enjoyed their dinner options a couple of times and the food is fantastic when it is cooked fresh. Hostess service has always been less than welcoming and servers have been hit and miss. They were missing utensils on the brunch table for shrimp and cheese and fruits. The selection was adequate but quality of food was again hit and miss. Server was positive and energetic but not very attentive to removing plates. Environment was cold mostly due to the large windows . I would probably try brunch here one more time but if I had the same experience I would probably stick with my other Boise Favorites who seem to appreciate customers more.

   Nice meal, we'll definitely be back. Our party had two orders of the evening's special (filet, one rare, one medium) and two orders of the chicken and mushroom pappardelle. All of the entrees was cooked properly and very tasty. The duck confit potato skins weren't amazing: the cheese overpowered the duck, but weren't bad. Our server was well informed about the menu (one gluten intolerant person in the party), and was polite, helpful, and attentive. Coffee and desserts after the mains were nice cherries on top. Very good!

    This was a great place to have brunch. It was a bottomless; perfect for those with a mighty hunger. The food was quite a bit better than your typical bottomless brunch; crab benedict, semi-traditional eggs benedict served on a risotto cake, bacon, sausage, crab claws, shrimp, and a nice variety of fruit, cheese, and sweets to name just a few of the offerings. The bottomless mimosas were terrific and had a very good champagne to orange juice ratio. The service was pleasant and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended to anybody looking for a new place to enjoy a higher-end brunch without breaking the bank.
