   First visit. Excellent food. Decent service and good value. Went for sharing dishes so could try a range. Lots of veggie choices. Could not fault anything.

   The bluefin tuna sashimi and tataki was the best Japanese food I have had since being in Japan.

   Staff need more training on allergens and to also be aware that they have an allergen menu available for customers to see. It took too many times asking to see one before we did and made us feel like we were being ‘difficult’ when ordering food to fit our intolerances.

   Fantastic food! Cocktails menu was good but a little brief perhaps. Staff were fabulous, room very nicely decorated. The tables were a bit close together and the room very busy and for the cost, I would have expected more room and more privacy but other than that, a very good experience.

   We came back to Kibou having been tempred back with voucher after a less than perfect visit for my son's birthday. Everything about this visit was first class - the issues we had last time of quite a wait to be saated were all settled. The food again was excellent, much quieter (but it was a Sunday lunch rather than Saturday dinner), staff were charming and pleasant as before. Glad we went back!

   Most things were delicious and perfect. I would say for one improvement would be the desserts. Bit bland and generic, we had the Crème Brûlée, apple gyozas, and the spicy chocolate tart. The tart was a bit too dense making it sickly but this is subjective to palette. The apple gyoza’s were generic, but ok. Overall, super yummy, would return perhaps minus the desserts.

   Fantastic food, my children age from 2-16 and all enjoyed the food. Service and the team were very helpful/friendly

   Expecting decent sushi but the meal was so much more - with the recommendations by the waitress we had the best meal with a combination of small plates

    Kibbutz is our ‘go to’ restaurant in Cambridge. Having visited Japan, we love the authenticity of its menu and the staff are always very friendly. It represents good value of money and is just very good in every way. My only hesitation in writing this review is that it might mean that there isn’t space when I next visit!
