   Happy Hour - apparently, and despite asking/confirming with staff several times during our 2 hours at the pub each time we ordered, does not apply to the drinks we selected. We chose tap beer and house wine specifically as directed at the stage of our booking but on receipt of the tab only 1 single item (VB schooner) was at Happy Hour prices. Assuming incompetency as opposed to being specifically lied to by staff but I'll certainly not be using the venue to host drinks again. The staff also let the Tab limit be exceeded without telling me.

   Booked a table for 5 people on the terrace for office Xmas lunch. Arrived early to be advised that our table had been given to other guests that had booked an inside table but found it 'dark and dingey'. We were offered the 'dark and dingey' table but declined and promptly left. Front of house gave an over-the-top monologue of how sincerely sorry he was for knowingly giving them our table (ie. it was not done in error). I was embarrassed in front of work colleagues as we had nowhere to go for our Xmas lunch (we ended up getting a sandwich from a food court). I will never book there again. The only redeeming feature of this establishment is the outdoor terrace and apparently a booking in advance doesn't guarantee your booking.

   Drinks were made well and chips were really nice. General manager, Waleid, was a bit sus - he wrote down his number when I showed my drink order on my phone. Felt like it was just to waste time and make us miss happy hour - sign and website says it ends at 7, he said “the system cuts it off at 6:55pm.” We had reached the bar and started ordering at 6:50pm. The pool table also ate our coins because “it has to be fed coins in a specific way, otherwise it might take more than it says [$3/game] and we can’t retrieve any of the money ourselves.” Would still go back for the chill vibe and drinks tho 🤷🏽‍♀️

   The staff were friendly and helpful, and the special for the day was very good value. The decor looks like it is a bit unfinished however like the lighting and furniture around the bar in particular. The chicken schnitzel was a bit overcooked however the chips were great. Also got good feedback on the Ms Maples burger at the table. Would come again during the week as also convenient to our office.

   The wait for food was so slow. There was a big table ahead of us but the wait was more than 25 minutes for food which is not acceptable for a pub lunch. One of the chicken schnitzels was uncooked. The chicken burger was good though.

   Despite booking a table, and receiving confirmation and a follow up to confirm we would be attending, on arrival we were told that there was no food being served after 6pm!we specifically booked a table for a meal for this event, as advertised with dining options, and specifically travelled to the city for the event. We had to leave and try and find somewhere else to get some Food. Very disappointing.

   Lovely Saint Patrick’s day party! Food was delicious and the ambience was lovely! Staff very attentive and friendly!
