My favorite place to hang out. This time it was a special birthday lunch for/with a friend. I love the fact I can walk one block and have a brunch, lunch, dinner, or wine on the deck. Zoe was our waitperson and she was great - personable and efficient. I have never had a "bad" wait person. Thanks for being here. (I DID - in the beginning - have concerns about you being in my neighborhood....I was here first). I am glad it's working for you.

Keenan’s has a lovely dining room in a very nice hotel overlooking Bellingham Bay. The menu is extensive, the staff incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly. The food was delicious, for the most part. They do seem to be a bit inconsistent with the quality of their dishes… some nights everything is on-point, other nights you order the same thing,-surprisingly little flavor with possible missing ingredients.

Steak was ordered medium rare, definitely not medium but throughly cooked. Hence the 4 stars for the food and value. Still one of my favorite places to eat in town. Great atmosphere and staff.

I had a brunch of Farmer’s veggie scramble with a side of bacon and a mimosa. Very tasty. I’ve had lunch and dinner at Keenan’s and it’s been excellent. His was my first breakfast and I’ll be back.

We often have Happy Hour in Keenan’s bar, but opted for reservations at the restaurant for this visit. Our service was outstanding, the food was beyond delicious (Seafood Paella and Fresh Ono), the setting could not have been more perfect and it’s safe to say that we had the most enjoyable dining experience in a very long time. Thank you to the staff and chef!

We were looking forward to this dinner, wanting to try it out due to reputation. However, the food was average and the prices were high. My recommendation would be to eat elsewhere. This is the best I can do from our one experience here.

The best part about this location for me was the incredible view on the patio. The heat lamps outside made it feel very cozy as well. The food was good and we had a lovely waitress. I’d recommend this spot to friends and family.

We made reservations for lunch with two other couples, but they were unable to join us, so we decided to continue with our lunch plans. The restaurant had a few diners so it was pretty quiet. Our lunch was great!

Wonderful food with a view of the water. Very calming. The liquid soap that is used for the washrooms smelled really good and made your hands soft. Will definitely come back as well as stay a night in the hotel.

Drinks were great, cab cakes and oysters were good. We ordered the ribeye and Scallops as well. Steak was awful. We ordered medium rare and came well done. It sat on the e table for 20 min before our server decided to come check on us. Scallops were paired with this really weird noodle dish. Service was awful, main dishes were awful. Great views and ambiance however. Go for drinks and appetizers but don’t bother staying for dinner.

The difficult things were amazing the fish was the best all had eaten. The pastas salad dressing all top notch. The only down thing was I asked specifically about the gluten free bun and was told it would be good and it was bad, crumbly, half warm etc. Also I ordered decaf and was up half the night so not certain that it was.

We got an outdoor table with a killer sunset view and perfect for our party of 5. Food is excellent and good price for kids’ meals. Seafood dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We love their mussels and clam chowder. Seasonal seafood specials were really good as well as their scallops on their regular menu. We were celebrating a birthday. Our dessert was a Nutella mouse cake with a strawberry. It was a mouth watering explosion of Nutella and nut crunch with a berry sauce. We stop by this restaurant nearly every trip to Bellingham. Book ahead, if you can.

We consistently receive poor service during dinner visits. The staff are not well trained and do not ensure the food and drink ordered are correctly brought to the table. This is a managerial issue.

The view is unbeatable, the food was delicious and our server, Mia, was friendly, efficient and so attentive. It was only loud when the train passes by which is fun to see.

I made a reservation and requested outside because we were taking our daughter and son in law from out of state for dinner and wanted them to experience a nice pnw evening…. but we were sat in what amounts to a fish bowl… an enclosed area of the patio that is shielded from any air circulation with blinds that have to be drawn to shield from the sun and heats up like an oven… not pleasant. When I asked to be moved to the area of patio that’s open with umbrellas I was told it was not for reservations. The view was unobstructed, it was open to fresh air and so lovely, We were very disappointed to be in the hot fish bowl. Also, they put the tables against the window in that fish bowl area instead of against the railing.. shouldn’t the servers walk by the windows instead of the railing ? So we were away from the edge railing watching staff walk by instead of the view (which was very obstructed in that area) not to mention the lack of circulating air🥵 Food was just ok and service was slow. Overall quite disappointing.

The happy hour menu and appetizers, drinks, and dessert were all better than the entrees themselves. Our server was ridiculously slow. We work in the food industry too and there is no excuse for how unavailable she was. We were on the patio miserably melting away in the heat. Our drinks took forever, appetizers were on time ish, and our entrees probably took a whole hour to arrive. The only perk of sitting out there was that I got a tan. If it’s extremely hot out just sit inside, the view is great but the sun is blinding.

Nice restaurant, beautiful ocean view. Our service was very good, but I can’t rate it as outstanding because of the little things ie.. opened our bottle and poured the wine, but never came back to refill. My ling cod was served with skin on. I removed the skin to find fish was over cooked and dry. All of the seasoning was on the skin. Wife's dish was outstanding. Dessert was outstanding. High end restaurant charging high end prices should be judged accordingly

A bit noisy and service somewhat slow, but it has a nice ambiance and fun people watching so that was all OK. Mushroom risotto was especially good, and my friend enjoyed the cioppino.

We had lunch on the patio on Sunday afternoon. It was busy but not crowded. Ambience was pleasant with a view of the pier. Service was excellent, food was good. Hamburger was medium rare as ordered, halibut a tad overcooked. Overall, a pleasant experience.
