KC Kitchen & Pizzeria
Food was yummy and staff was friendly, will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed our dinner. The menu offers a nice variety of options. My pizza was tasty - I loved the crispy thin crust - and my daughter enjoyed her fettuccine alfredo. Service was attentive but never annoying and kept our thirsty group's glasses filled (even bringing me my own mini-pitcher of tea). The price for four of us was a good value. I'm not often in this area for dinner, but it's a great choice for a more relaxed, casual dinner atmosphere (and much better than the chain pizzeria alternatives).
Excellent vegan food, service, and location. We had the beyond bites, the fettucine, and the philly on Vegan Valentine's day.
This was a great spot for an after work group gathering. A great variety of food on the menu and quiet enough atmosphere for us to talk to each other. We also enjoyed the music they had playing. We all had a great time and plan on returning.
KC Kitchen & Pizzeria has a good selection of Vegan dishes (Vegan Ranch burger was delicious...) as well as friendly and quick service :)
Only 3 tables of guests and still took a really long time to make a small taco pizza. The pizza was not that great either. Our server was nice but not very attentive.
First time. We'll definitely be back.
As always, the Midtown pizza was fabulous! It's my son's favorite and we will come back again and again for it!! Mario is the best server ever!!
A nice place that still seems to be trying to find itself. Waitstaff was very informal. My sandwich (meatball hoagie) was tasty and well-prepared, if not exactly a culinary treasure; house-made chips were very good. Trivia contest via in-house loudspeakers was very loud, so our desire to chat with friends was difficult, but we managed. Late-evening crowd was a bit loud, too, but not offensively so.
My husband and I had never eaten at KC Pizzeria and Kitchen. I decided to buy a Groupon in order to try the restaurant. I thought it sounded promising that they had organic and vegan options. I made a reservation (not knowing one wasn't necessary) using OpenTable. The hostess/server didn't know about OpenTable despite the fact that the restaurant uses it (why, I don't know, since there was only one other table of diners the whole time we were at the restaurant; never a good sign). She asked someone from the back about it, who then asked the owner. When we were seated, the server recommended the pizza. My husband's pizza was among the worst restaurant pizza he's ever eaten. It was overcooked, with some of the toppings being rather charred, and was served on a piece of cardboard on top of a pizza pan. The website said the pizza dough was made fresh in-house daily. If that’s the case, why was it served on cardboard? My husband said the pizza was on a par with frozen pizza or drive-in movie pizza from when he was a kid. My food was much better. I had a vegan hoagie with fries. The black bean burger on the hoagie, however, was mushy. There were only a few beers on tap although there were more craft beers in bottles. The lighting was awful with a choice of either a single blue bulb or a red bulb over each booth. The lighting in the rest of the restaurant was harsh. A monster truck rally was playing on many of the numerous TVs. Much of the time there was obnoxious music playing that was too loud, although the musical selection did get better over time. We won’t be going back there.
We were very happy to get a large group of 15 seated easily. pizza was great and so was the service.
Newly opened, nice crispy crust on pizzas, would be nice to have beers on tap, excellent and thoughtful service and server staff, good basic pizzeria that does have a lot of competition... if they focused a bit more on local/fresh ingredient options on pizzas might have more options. We had a large post holiday family group and they handled our large party easily. Excellent service distinguished this restaurant for us.
The waitress was never around and the place was empty. It took us 45 minutes to get our pizza and there was only one other table in the bar and we saw their server 10 times more than our own.
The food was good, however it took forever to get our food. My family and I only ordered 1 large pizza and a small salad and wings. It took about 30 mins just to get my salad and wings and about 45 mins to get our pizza and the place was not even busy that night.
