   Food was great. Actually surpassed my expectation for a Mexican Restaurant located in a tourist shopping plaza, to be honest. I loved the presentation of the chimichanga, and the chipotle chicken was excellent, with a great sized portion - no complaints about the food at all. Charging $3 for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant is kind of insulting, and really has a "nickel and dime" feeling to it. This should be complimentary based on your menu prices, and you know it! The service was... meh. The guy was nice enough, but super soft spoken considering the noise level (Mariachi and birthday singing every 30 seconds) - so he was hard to hear. Minor service misses too - example, he asked us if we wanted tap water or bottled water when we sat down, and then he never brought either until we asked later in the meal. He didn't refill refillable beverages until asked (and your cups are pretty small)... so that was mildly annoying and unnecessary. After we finished our meal, he kind of disappeared - never cleared the empty plates, never brought the check until we flagged him down - and this wasn't based on business volume.... the restaurant was not nearly full, and there were TONS of servers on the floor (overstaffed in my opinion as a manager!) so I'm not really sure where he ran off to - we got another server to find him. Perhaps the most insulting part was when we left and asked about parking validation - because EVERY restaurant at Pointe Orlando comps parking in the garage - but we were told no, we give you a discount... and that discount took $0.74 cents off the parking fee! Come on. We stopped at Maggiano's on the way out to get dessert to go, and they even offered to comp the parking - but we coudn't accept, since we had already applied your 74 CENT discount. Totally ridiculous and off-putting. Stop being so cheap and cover the parking (and the chips and salsa!) Loved the food, but we probably won't return - and we are local!

   OMG! What a great experience! The food was amazing and our server was very friendly. He was attentive but not stalker like. Not real quiet but I think that’s the atmosphere. There was some entertainment that was incredible. Cost wise is about what you would expect in a resort area. Definitely recommend Kavas!

   It was our 1st time at Kavas Tacos and we chose to go on Cinco de Mayo. Every table was filled inside and outside the restaurant. It was absolutely packed with customers. Fortunately we had a reservation and to our great surprise we were seated immediately inside at the only empty table which was waiting just for us. Inside and outside was a party fun atmosphere with live llamas, upbeat music, dancers and a mariachi band. As soon as we were seated we were handed tiny sombreros to wear. Our upbeat waiter was eager and also festive immediately came to our table to discuss the menu. We started with Ground Beef Nachos, Chicken Flautas and Drinks. That was followed by Chicken Chimichangas, Carne Asada Tacos and for dessert Coconut Tres Leches Cake. Since there were what seemed like hundreds of customers in and outside the restaurant we expected a long wait to be served. But once again we were quite surprised that everything we ordered came to us almost immediately. Plus our food was delicious and the proportions were large. Our waiter was very attentive even though he was covering several tables. Always there to give us extra napkins, drink refills, hot sauce, anything we needed. And other staff would come by and remove empty plates. The entire staff were working at optimum speed and efficiency. As busy as they were it was a well organized, extremely well run restaurant. We had a great time and a delicious meal. So we'll definitely be returning.

   This place has delicious food and drinks! Also such a fun atmosphere!!! Cool entertainment too! Service was fantastic. We decided to come for back to back days on our recent trip!! Highly recommend!!!
