   Sorry for the four stars, the night seemed to be a little off across the board. Normally its 5 Stars for us. We ate early this night, we were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly. Food seemed to take longer than usual coming out. Food wasn't as flavorful as usual, everything was to the bland side. Our waitress didn't check us during our meal. Overall just not a great night. It was good enough for just any old restaurant but not for Kankakee Grille. We look forward to coming back again, hopefully to a great experience.

   Food to table time was slower than normal, but they were working hard to get the orders out. It was fine as we were enjoying time with friends

   Awesome as usual! Service was excellent, live entertainment was vey good and the food was delicious and the portions are huge (shareable) size!

   Another great experience! I was super impressed that the cook said he remembered me for my love of their deviled eggs. I didn’t even see him. That is exceptional service in the background. Oh… and I really think you all need to rethink not having the patio open in the summer… I look forward to sitting outside when it gets warm😊

   Made reservation for a booth, but none were available. Service is Great Christy is an excellent server. Very busy evening, but Waitress was up to the challenge. Food was served Hot and tasty.

   I have visited Kankakee Grill many times in the past but this Easter brunch special of $35 was not so special. The Ham and Scalloped Potatoes and the Vegetables were excellent, however the Bread, "Corn Bread"?, was hard as a brick. It was not edible! Plus the dessert was a spongy mess, not tasty at all. It seems like they were serving left-overs! This is not at all what I have previously experienced at Kankakee Grill. The waiter was excellent and the martinis were well served but I doubt if I will return because of this low quality food!

   Easter ham dinner special was poor. Our food initially arrived not cold but tepid, not warm at all. We sent it back and it then arrived on a hot plate but the food was still not as warm as one would think coming right out of the kitchen. Ham, scalloped potatoes and cornbread were all dry and overcooked. The glazed carrots were good. Bread pudding dessert that came in a mini cast iron skillet was so cool you could hold the skillet in your hands. We chose this restaurant for the Easter Dinner special and were very disappointed.

   Food was excellent but the service was slow and it took us about half an hour to get our dinner. They were not that busy so it was a little disappointing.

    A slow start with over 15 min at table before someone came to give us water and forgot lemon for water which I ended up getting myself since it took so long for them to come back. Waitress has a couple of big tables and she could have used some help to at least get water and acknowledge our presence. Once things slowed down it was great. Has a live guitar/singer who was really good. Overall great experience and food was great
