Kalimotxo is a Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar from the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group. Kalimotxo celebrates the vibrant small plates culture of Spain, from Basque style pintxos to tapas from Andalusia, all meant to be enjoyed with crushable cocktails, a curated Spanish wine list, and flowing porrones.

    Valet is available on Friday and Saturday for $10 and is located at the entrance of the parking garage, on the west side of Nueces St, in between 2nd and 3rd. We also provide validation for up to 2 hours in the garage. Our bar, Kalimotxo, opens at 5pm Tues-Saturday and 4PM on Sunday.

    Loved the ambiance. I just wished I’d brought some vinyl. Tasty tapas and lovely rose wine. Food was a little pricey and small portions but quality was ace.

    Service was impeccable. The food was excellent. My servers, Zachary and Grigor were outstanding! I will definitely be returning.

    Amazing service from host to server. Amazing food. And not annoyed with our big birthday group. Very accommodating and I can’t speak highly enough about the food quality.

    Food was amazing and the servers did a great job of walking through the menus as well as making sure everyone felt welcomed! The music was great too.

    All in all, it was a memorable meal with attentive, informed service. We were outside so the noise level was fine, unless you don't like trees full of birds, chirping. Inside seemed very loud when we passed through to leave. We had a wide choice of tapas and 2 main dishes (Pork Milanesa and Rice and mushrooms, which complemented each other really well. Only the Calamari disappointed -- a bit dry and flat. And a really fun place to eat. Tapas are among the best things (of which there are many) that Spanish Culture has gifted us.

    Was excellent. Atmosphere was classy and quiet (Sun diner though, not sure about Fri or Sat evening) food was up to expectation for Spanish tapas. Service was attentive. We will definitely go back and explore more of the creative menu.

    Server was absolutely impeccable and gave us free champagne to pair with all the food that we had ordered. He was absolutely phenomenal, and the food was amazing. Will absolutely be back truly such an impeccable experience in Austin! ❤️❤️❤️
