We had a reservation but we didn’t get seated until 30 minutes later. The food was decent and came out hot and fresh. Overall had a fun time, well keep this one in consideration.

We did dine in during a very busy Mother’s Day brunch and the place was extremely busy. We did have a reservation and we were seated fairly quickly, however, we waited almost 2 hours for our food orders to arrive. The music they played was very loud, it was challenging to have conversation with our dining company. Great place for the younger crowd and not for special family brunches.

Came here for mother's day, was able to make a reservation the day before. The food came out so quickly and the drinks came out even faster. Food was filling and delicious. WELL worth the price as the portions are large. It was a little loud in mother's day but I've been there during the weekdays when it's quite. Both times service has been amazing and kitchen was FAST. Would recommend!

Wasn’t busy but managed to miss rice and beans and just gave us a sad meat platter w 2…. 2 small tortillas for $32 carne asada plate that should’ve came as a complete meal. Total disaster will be posting about this on social media… police were on scene ruining the night because of others nuisance. Totally felt degraded by this place with workers coming by a total of 2 times the whole 1hr 39 min we were there.. no water service having to bring out my own water bottle because service is not a thing here

Staff is beyond rude and was racist to their black customers it was disgusting. My food was cold and our server never came back to our table the entire time. Couldn’t even ask for napkins, sauce, or anything.

Good food and service but too loud. I wouldn’t go here for dinner if you plan to have any type of conversation. The music is too loud for a restaurant setting. Been here for lunch and it was much quieter. But again, the food is really good.

Amazing everything!!!! So much fun, the energy was so fun and energetic perfect for a night out or special occasion. The food and drinks were all good, one of the best services I have ever had. Went for a Birthday celebration with Family, don’t have any complaints, food was great, drinks were good, the playlist could have been a bit better but I didn’t mind the music. I was able to have a conversation and still listen to music, which was really good in my opinion.

I made reservation for a valentines dinner 30 days ahead. When I arrived I was told they reach capacity and to wait until a table become available. Others next to me were also displeased with making reservations and still having to leave their name to be called. The place is nice but services is really subpar. No ranch, forgot my tortillas, no refill. I had to wait a tremendous amount of time nearly finishing my steak before waiter returned by our table. Good vibes but service was displeasing.

-Very loud. You have to speak loudly to hear one another. Music too loud like a nightclub. -Food and drinks are expensive. -Manager moved us from a bar high top to a booth. We had to close out our bill just to change tables. Unprofessional. -A lot of tables thrown into the middle of the room to maximize number of customers/profits. No intimacy, or privacy.

Day after Christmas was looking for a good spot in Riverside to grab lunch with extended family. Of course, lots of places closed or booked solid. Saw Kalaveras and headed over. At first, we were skeptical—office park vibe near Riverside center. But as soon as we walked in, friendly staff greeted us and we could see there is a nice bar area and plenty of seating. The salsa for the chips was excellent, my kids typically don’t like salsa unless it’s “simple”. But they devoured the first helpings We got a pitcher of the pineapple margarita—again excellent. My wife is a lightweight and half the pitcher but her out on the return trip. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Everything was prepared well and different from the standard fare. If I had to pick a downside was we were right under a speaker, so conversation was difficult due to the loudness, but otherwise manageable. I will be back, excellent find!
