   Nice, friendly service, food was awesome and was served quickly. Definitely a fun party-time atmosphere with loud music. We went on a Saturday.

   The atmosphere was loud but seemed fun with the DJ and dancing. Very colorful restaurant, nicely designed. But it’s definitely not a place to have conversations. Ny only complaint is that I ordered a $12 Kalavera margarita but asked for mezcal instead of blanco and was charged $35 without any notice. That was disappointing and unexpected.

   Took a while to be greeted at the door but once seated, service was great. It was well suited for our large party. The food was great, drinks were good, food came out fast and it was an overall good time.

   I’ve been here before so I was expecting the same quality of food. I was upset to get my food after waiting so long for it and it was pretty much cold.

   First time at Kalaveras in Chula Vista & experienced their brunch menu with some micheladas, bottomless mimosas, &shots for dessert. I decided to get the ceviche appetizer w a side of there spice sauce (4/5 stars), my friends ordered adobada steak and eggs 4/5 stars, pasta al Diablo (4/5 stars), and barbacoa omelette (3/4 stars; not because it was bad but it was basic compared to the other dishes- taste was 4/5stars). Server and service was 4/5 stars not because they were lacking but because they didn’t go above and beyond. They did give great service overall, especially refilling our mimosas before they reached the bottom of the glass. They were very aware and very attentive with us and his other tables. Overall experience: Fell in love with the Redando beach location so had to try this one with my San Diego friends.I would give a “10/10 would recommend” and would come back again. Rating scale: My ratings to give a 5/5 would have to be Michelin Star restaurants so this 4/5 is still exceptionally high rating for this establishment in my books. Hope this helps &Enjoy!

   Went on a Friday it was super fun & the music was really good. Then we went on a Tuesday and the music was soooo lame. It was extremely boring nothing compared to Friday. We asked them to change the music multiple times & it never happened. Food is really good & happy hour is the best time to go.

    Everything was really good and it was super easy, fast and convenient to book a table. Service was great and food came quickly.
