Established in 1966, Kalamaras Greek Taverna London is a hidden jewel in the backstreets of Notting Hill. On Inverness Mews, just steps from Bayswater Underground, Kalamaras restaurant continues to impress with its exceptionally high-quality food done the Mediterranean way: fresh, simple and healthy. Kalamaras London makes use of a state-of-the-art charcoal grill in the kitchen alongside other traditional Greek cooking methods to ensure authentic flavour all the time, whether that be fresh fish, the chef’s signature moussaka or some mezze to share. The restaurant itself is much like the food in that it’s simple and stylish and certainly one of our favourites in Notting Hill. Reserve a table now.

We enjoyed a fabulous visit to Kalamaras - the restaurant was very quiet but the service and food were excellent! We were a mixed group of adults and kids - the kids menu went down very well and the inclusion of some activities on the menu kept our children entertained. Proper Greek hospitality all round - we felt we had been transported to warmer climes... top tip is the Vegan moussaka which was delish - I’m not even vegan was just intrigued! We’ll be back for sure!

Visiting London, and discovered this gem after a long tourist day on our feet. Fantastic middle eastern food with moderate portions and delicious seasoning. Highly recommended!

Quite neighborhood location. Food was a of good quality but a little bland. Pricing is a tab bit on the high side. Don't regret going the first time but definitely not a repeat location for me! Bottomline is with so many choices there are better alternatives.
