Really great ambiance. Enjoyed their food. Can’t wait until I got there again!

Got to Kia at 5:30 for happy hour (ends at 6pm). Order a few items plus other things not on hh menu. When I got the bill, ALL the items were charged at regular price. I asked the waitress why some items didn’t have hh price? She said that I had to let her know that I wanted a hh item since they have to input in in the system as such...wait what? I have NEVER had to clarify I want a hh item when such thing is listed on YOUR OWN MENU! She only apologized and left the bill unchanged...

The air conditioner was turned on right above our table so we frozen it was very uncomfortable.We told the problem to everybody over and over again.They fixed the problem after 2 hours.I dont recommend to anyone.

Great food, music, and service.

The service and ambience was excellent. Our waitress provided great recommendations. The fried rice was a little too greasy and salty, it could have used pickled relish on the side to cut the richness. We were disappointed that 3 items we ordered were "all out" :( We got there at 6pm, it seems they should have enough of their offerings on the menu at that time.

Food was very good. Drinks as well. Only issue was the service, while friendly and helpful, was too slow in my opinion. Appeared that they may have been short-handed the night we were there.

Family outing

It is clear that you're paying for the atmosphere because the food is not worth what you pay for it. We had a simple burger, granted it was Wagyu beef, but it was almost $50. It was very dry, and had nothing but meat and bread. The drinks are vastly overpriced as well. My wife and I wanted to do something special for her birthday and try a new place. We were very disappointed. If this was a night club, it would make sense because the expectation for the food would be lower, but it's a restaurant and it doesn't live up to the hype.

This was my 2nd time at KAI Restaurant & Lounge and it was just as wonderful as my first time. The staff is aways very professional and give outstanding service. The food is delicious and leave you wanting more every time. It's a a nice place to relax and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Me and my friend went for dinner and already are planning to come back. The waitress was amazing and had great suggestions on menu. The restaurant is very nice and clean and from the beginning we were greeted and it our food came out in a timely fashion!!!

The food was delicious and the overall vibe was great! The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with recommendations based on my palate. I'll definitely come back!

Love this place. The vibes were immaculate. 10/10 recommended definitely coming back soon.

All around great experience for a first timer

This was my first visit to Kai! I had heard such wonderful things about it. We had a table of 8 and ordered a few appetizers that were nice. The entrees were overpriced for the portion size. The cod was delicioius, but tiny portion for $38. The delivery timing of food was very off. We got our cod last, it was warm, but the jamine rice was cold. The cod was delicious, but tiny portion since it was only the cod on the plate. I am fine paying for individual items, but was not impressed with portions. The scallops were only two on a plate. Just seemed like they were maybe struggling and reduced portions to make up for the loss of revenue over the pandemic. The beef dish our friend ordered was more than enough. Our server was great, but two times they delievered items to our table that we did not order. Just seemed unorganized and not worth the $$.

Food was mediocre and did not find the value for the money that was spent. Food taste was not satisfactory

The value of the food is not good. Didn't live up the our expectations at all. Also, our table was so close to the party behind us that my fiancé's chair was touching someone else's. My food came out 15 mins earlier than my fiancé's, which wouldn't have been a problem had we just been told to expect that.

Great atmosphere and the service was amazing. Great place for a night out with the girls.

The lower rating on Value is related to the surprise service charge we incurred and didn’t realize after we had already applied gratuity. We had 6 people in our party and we’re not informed that a service charge would be applied to the bill nor was it called out by the wait staff when they brought us the check. Would have been nice to know before we tipped another $100.

KAI was everything I expected! Beautiful decor and details, amazing staff, and great food! I went with my friend for happy hour, so it's a great place to meet the girls but I could easily go on a late night date here and pull in the romantic vibes from the KAI ambience.

Really nice atmosphere, music and ambient were very appropriate for dinner, then DJ switched it to a party mood and it was awesome. Cocktails are the best but food is a little bit over priced.

Friend date. We enjoyed the ambience and got some cute pics. The portions were VERY small for the prices. We left and went to get more food after we’d finished our dinner

Requested dining area seating when making reservations. Also requested quiet table. Confirmed dining room seating with phone call from Kai. Repeated request at hostess stand. Was escorted to the bar area. Again requested dining room. WS RESEATED in the bar area.

The service, food, and the experience was amazing ! Great cocktails also. I loved the small tapas portions because I was able to try several things.

Our group had a fabulous time celebrating a dear friends birthday. We loved the option of having a relaxing dinner environment on the north patio and then pop over to the south patio for dancing with the dj. So much fun! We will definitely be back. Food and service were perfect!

Great vibe and decorated very edgy and "photo pleasing". This is a great place for dinner/night out with friends. The food and drinks are delicious you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The food was excellent, but because we were a party of two, they tried to seat us at one of those tables where you sit across from each other and, to make it worse, was on a busy aisle/corner. The noise level is very high so we would have to scream to hear each other with that table. When we asked for a better option, we were told that was our only choice and no other options were given. We chose to leave, but saw space at the sushi counter so we sat there. There were two tables for four in the main area that never ended up being used while we were there. Because of our treatment by the somewhat-snooty hostess about the table, we will never go back.

My reservation was under Annamarie Russell. The restaurant was spectacular!! FOOD,SERVICE, CROWD& ENTERTAINMENT ALL AMAZING!!! Best BEST MOST FUN place in Dallas! Love the owner too!!!💕😁
