Justine is always a great spot to eat. One of the best burgers in town. Great atmosphere!
Everything was fantastic! The food, the service, the atmosphere and the drinks. Thank you for a great night!
Great food and drinks. Aesthetically pleasing. 10/10 would recommend.
Overpriced bistro fare in a nice setting.
Food and service is amazing
Food was all excellent, but it took an awful long time to receive our entrees. The server was very nice and apologetic, and ultimately offered free dessert, but there must have been some sort of issue with the kitchen, as the restaurant was only 25% full. Beautiful space, and food was all very good (pork belly and shrimp apps, and hangar steak frites were highlights), and we’d give it another try.
I used to frequent Justines. After last night I know why I decide not to any longer. The waiter was rude and miserable. We were seated in the outside patio for a birthday celebration with 6 adults. There were many booths available especially more distance apart from other tables. We were seated with no table space in between 4 other tables in the patio. Im so disappointed as the group of people had never been to the restaurant and I thought it would be a fabulous idea.
Awesome experience. Food and service was great
Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Food was great
On the wine list there was a 2001 Sauvignon Blanc. When questioned about its value ($85) we were told that it was good. We ordered it and it turned out to be well past its shelf life. That is a major faux pas for a restaurant that weeks top recognition.
We had a reservation for a birthday lunch which was not acknowledged. The ac vent blew dust all over us and our food we had to change tables. The vent was filthy. Manager never said a word. We felt an apology of some sort would have been the least he could of done.
Excellent spot in the French Quarter. We had fish special, steak frites and escargot. All excellent. Service also excellent. Highly recommended.
Great food. Service was OK
Justine was amazing! Bryce the somm was incredibly attentive and helpful. The food was fantastic, ambiance was great!
A great restaurant. Good meal, but caught them at the end of brunch shift so burnt toast and no milk for coffee. Really? Yes. Oh well Lol. We’ll give them a break after what for sure was a long busy Homecoming weekend at Tulane… would always recommend here.
One of my absolute favorites! Never fails to be an awesome experience & fantastic food. Got the steak frites & it was incredible!! Chris was our waiter and he was the best! So friendly & personable!
We did get the brownie to split & didn’t care for it much. It was cold, & would have probably been much better warmed. We didn’t really eat it. I’d skip that next time & go for the crème brûlée!
Highly recommend Justine’s!
Food was excellent and ambiance was impressive. Needs to improve service as waitress was not up to date on menu .
so good and so fun. My wife had the hangar steak special which was incredible. I always get their burger which is one of the best in the city.
Fantastic food, impeccable service from a friendly, well-trained staff!
Great experience. Amazing service and attention to detail
Good was excellent, service was great however they had mice running around the dinning room area.
Small exquisite menu...personal and thoughtful service
Came to Justine last night. I won’t describe the entire experience, but our server was absolutely terrible and appeared to be intoxicated. We got up and left because the service was really that bad. Never even got to try the food. After being treated like that, didn’t want to.
If you’re going for a place to spend $$$ surrounded by cute decor while having the yell to your table mates over loud customers and music, this is the place for you. Unfortunately we got a different vibe from their website. We were looking for a cute place for our anniversary and were very disappointed. It’s very well decorated and the food is good, but I’ve been to dive bars where the clientele had better class. The party music blasting doesn’t create the ambience their website and price point would suggest. We hate to say that it was the one blight on our otherwise perfect trip.
Some of the best service in NOLA. The waiters are super professional, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu/ingredients. This was my second time at Justine & I loved it just as much as the first time. The food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!
I’m writing this review because I was really looking forward to dining in this restaurant. I was woefully disappointed! The restaurant is very attractive but the ambiance is completely destroyed by the loud hip hop music that was piped in. The menu was extremely limited and when we asked if there were any specials we were told “There are no specials. What you see is what you get.” The appetizer of escargot was mediocre at best. The house salad actually was delicious but the entree, Steak Frites, was awful. No, let me rephrase that. The French fries were delicious but the mystery meat was tough and chewy.
The best part of the evening was the Sommelier!! He was very professional and the wine he recommended was fabulous!!!
Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant!
Food and service quite good. Nice ambiance. Only criticism is $8 for a side of 2 pieces of bread. Most fine dinner houses serve bread without charge. This seemed excessive.
One person was served their entree and we then waited a full fifteen minutes for the rest of the entrees which were all the scrambled eggs which should take less than five minutes! My order was specifically NO meat or bread and came with only meat and bread and minus the potatoes. Our server came to the table and said the other entrees were coming right out (which they were not) and Made some flimsy excuse about the served entree of shrimp and grits was new and and was supposed to be served before everything else. We didn’t say anything at the time because we were entertaining a guest but it was a train wreck. Would never go back.
We had the best time!!!
Justine was a very pleasant surprise. The food was outstanding and served hot when it was supposed to hot and cold when it was supposed to be cold. The menu is small but inclusive of everything a meal needs. Wonderful and artful cooking. Host Robby Robinson stopped to chat with us, then sat down to a more leisurely personal conversation about our coming move back to New Orleans. The star of the show: our waitress Savannah. Perhaps the best I have ever seen. Right up there with Jimmy Luigi at Antoinne’s. She worked 4 tables and ours, never missing a trick. I watched as she also tended the restaurant’s business, bringing stacks of plates from the back, hauling out 5 large chilled water bottles, distributing dessert menus at exactly the right moment. I commented on Savannah’s professional excellence to Robby as we left. We will be back to Justine. Count on that!
It was a wonderful experience. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection
Extraordinary. Met an elite standard by which I judge all other restaurants. The staff was always ready to help, the premises were extremely clean, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented.
Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful. The restaurant also offers a wonderful drink menu. I look forward to returning to Nola and Justines!
A wonderful surprise! The food was exquisite and our server was very nice he made us feel very special.
We ordered fish; they ran out of fish! One of my guests, then ordered French onion soup and Brussels sprouts. The waiter came back and said they ran out of Brussels sprouts. So, it was burgers all around, but all burgers were over cooked. Burger was completely over salted.
it would be 5 stars across the board, but they need to turn the music just a bit so you don't have to talk so loudly to be heard by your party at the table.
Great vibe and outstanding service.
Great location on Charters
Service was very slow. Restrooms needed attention. Music VERY loud. Cocktail was very good.
Amazing service and a bright unique vibe. Great for groups.
