   We were a party of four and you literally had to lean across the table to hear each other. Is unbelievably loud in the restaurant. Our cornbread and salads were great! I had the seafood pasta entrée which was nice but needed more seasoning other than lemon. The lemon butter sauce was a little too lemon!

   Friendly staff, beautiful space, and good dining experience. The food was pretty good and my favorite thing (not pictured) was the Maryland Crab Cake. The prices in general were fairly decent.

   Party of five for brunch on a Sunday. Brunch burger & crab Benedict were “just ok”. French toast was great with fresh fruit. Two orders of every day breakfast were delicious. Eggs were perfect, and the kitchen was able to accommodate Cuban toast instead of ciabatta. Our server, Flo was excellent and speed of service was perfect. Loved the decor and will be back.

   The food was fantastic! However, the service was extremely slow with both drinks and food. By the time the entrée arrived after the parties, I was no longer hungry. It’s a pity because the food was amazing, but we definitely left disappointed with the service.

   I had a reservation for indoor, it they sat us outside and when I told them we had an indoor reservation they said the inside was already fully committed and could not accommodate us despite my reservation. Outside was super crammed and very close to the adjacent tables lacking any private conversation. We were pretty distracted by surrounding conversations that it took away from the date night we were hoping for. The food was really great though.

   Menu has many great options which made it difficult to choose. We had oysters and cornbread as appetizers. Both were excellent. Then we had the crispy salad and sea bass for entree. Two of us shared everything and it was plenty. For dessert we chose carrot cake which I highly recommend. Our server was Brock and he was the best!

    We passed time before our reservation at Pluma; hostess was fabulous, but it took over 50 minutes after ordering to get the first round of beverages, & almost the same amount of time to get the second round (& the server forgot one of the three cocktails we ordered so it took longer than the first round.) Two rounds of cocktails took 2 hours and 25 minutes so we were late to our reservation at J&P. The server apologized at least 6 times for the extended wait so we were surprised to see that the bill was presented in full with no offer to remove anything for the delays. I’m in the industry so I hate to complain at the table - but was surprised that there was no offer to comp anything when the manager and server both apologized for the poor service times. Drinks were tasty - but the timing was a poor showing. Customer’s shouldn’t have to complain loudly to have the server/manager recognize when service doesn’t deliver. Dinner at J & P was good, service was fine.
