June's All Day
Partners Larry McGuire & Tom Moorman have joined forces with Master Sommelier June Rodil to bring a laid back but sophisticated neighborhood cafe and wine bar to South Congress.
Featuring a funky menu with odes to Spanish tapas bars, Parisian cafes, and hipster NYC wine bars. Rodil will use the spot as her playground for serving hard to find and delicious wines alongside a tight cocktail program & local and non-cool beers. We might show some sports or have a DJ.
All around excellent for brunch. Will go for dinner to try entrees. Reasonably priced. Excellent service. GO!
Such a cute place!
The menu is lovely, knowledgeable waitstaff, excellent wine. 6pm on a Friday. It was busy and noisy. Loved the parking lot behind the restaurant
June's is always wonderful. My fiancée and I always have a great time there, and their takeout is delicious, too. The service is also excellent.
Great food! Too loud for conversation, though.
Our server, Andy, was cool. Great knowledge of wine and very engaging.
Get a reservation!
We enjoyed 2 Indian dishes, pita, Chicken Piccata, chicken sandwich and a 1/2 price bottle of wine!delish
Very cute and quaint, food was delicious! The patio is small but it offers a nice view of SoCo. Not an abundance of seating so would definitely recommend making reservations during peak times! Will definitely be bacj
The foie gras is incredible! I never had such a perfect steak tartare with French fries.
We have been to June’s twice now. Service is impeccable. Waitstaff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Food is excellent, especially their bone marrow bolognese and foie gras. Specials are a hit, too.
June's food is delicious and fresh. It's a bit pricey, but understandable because of its location and quality of food. The waitstaff are willing to go above and beyond by answering questions and helping out customers. I love the extensive wine list as well. We will be back!
this his one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. food is fantastic. fois gras is to die for
Our service was really poor - first time that has happened, but it will make us think twice about going back.
June's All Day is one of our favorite places to eat. The drinks are unique, especially June's Punch, which from the ingredients to presentation is a delight. The foie gras could almost be a dessert. The Jambon sandwich with fries is now my go to dish. The bone marrow is interesting also. On Mondays they have half price wines.
June’s All Day was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. We will definitely come back as there are other dishes we’d like to try.
Chilton and Matthew are fantastic. Really enjoyed our evening!
Awesome food and service! Good deal in half price bottles kn mondays!
It was great!
I can see this restaurant becoming one of our favorite go-to's. Food is good and service is friendly. I wish the tables (which are cute) were more comfortable (square would be easier than the round bistro tables they currently have) and the bench seating is not comfy at all. I like the appeal and option of counter seating. Also, a big cheer for parking in the back, a big plus for SoCo.
This is my favorite brunch, dinner, chill spot. It’s small and quaint so a reservation is a must, but both indoor and outdoor seating is spacious. The food, wine and cocktails are top notch quality. Have yet to eat a bad meal or leave regretting my cocktail order. My favorite stop on SOCO.
June’s All Day everyday! It’s hard to try other places in Austin when we are hooked on June’s. From the awesome hospitality to perfect menu and cocktails- June’s is what every spot should be. Each time we return we feel like welcomed regulars and the food is still consistently excellent. To try- Jambon de Paris, Cold Artichoke (ask about the second course here :)), Burger and one of the best Punches you’ll ever have.
Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
Food was amazing. The wine list was extensive and also had some summer features. Two of us split 6 dishes so we could try a bunch of things, and they were all amazing.
I went for Friday Happy Hour, and was blown away! We had the chilled artichoke, salami & idiazabal cheese, and fries. They also brought this delicious homemade sourdough with olive oil. They were both so fresh and delicious!! We also had an amazing sparkling rose that was recommended to us by the waitress. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience, I would recommend June's All Day to everyone in Austin!
Loved the ambiance, vibe and overall feel of the place. Food was a little over-priced for what it was, but overall it was a lovely experience.
I love this place - have been several times and its consistently excellent. Its one of my go-to meeting stops to catch up with friends. So good, and you can have a civil conversation without shouting.
June’s was a wonderful dining experience!
Our first time today, but we will be back!
Delicious food and attentive waitstaff in a lovely setting, we dined outside.
Our waitress was very patient with us while we tried to find the right red wine. IN the end, we got a French Bordeaus blend that was outstanding! The Couse cause was fantastic; unlike anything I have ever had in the past (as far as house cause goes). The dessert was out of this world. The meal was worth every penny and our waitress was big p[art of it!
Great happy hour!
Good ambience. Fried chicken sandwich was the best
Prices have significantly increased without a concomitant increase in portion size or quality. Indian pub night used to be a fun and moderately priced outing. Now, at $25/entree and very expensive wine, it is simply not worth the price. I doubt we will be back any time soon.
I celebrated my 50th birthday with friends and family at brunch, and everyone was impressed with the food, ambience, and service. It was an excellent food experience!! Great time!
Can’t wait to return! Everything was divine from the atmosphere to the food to the service!
Such a disappointment. This place continues to go downhill. Service has become subpar and they don’t seem to have a passion for wine anymore. Wine menus/zine are beat up and unpresentable, once a source of pride, now, almost unsanitary. Portions have become much smaller while they’re driving prices way up. Once was my favorite restaurant in austin, now, I really don’t want to go back.
We went at happy hour and got half off bubbles and 25% off on all plates. To eat we got three of the appetizers. The salami and cheese plate probably wasn’t worth the price but the croquettes were amazing. Could have gotten two orders of those. The eggplant was also great!
Excellent!! The best bread and olive oil. The fois gras was so different and very good! Bolognese according to my mom probably best in Austin. Burger excellent as well. I’ve already recommended it to several friends.
Very nice weeknight dinner. Good cocktails and friendly service.
The food was amazing! The staff was incredibly nice, especially accommodating our stroller as we had a newborn and also a toddler in tow. We enjoyed great food and atmosphere, without being treated differently for having young children with us.
Fantastic Austin restaurant with great food with a French flair. Impeccable in all respects.
Our server was awesome and the atmosphere was fun. Took my mom there for Mother's Day. She said she had not been spoiled her whole like but was feeling it now.
