Servers seemed mad or annoyed to be there. They just slammed plates down on table and walked away after mumbling the name of the dish under their breath.
Fantastic once again. Creative dishes for everyone with pleasing tapas for all taste preferences. A great job of making a perfect dinner. You cannot go wrong. An excellent choice of the many in Vegas. Bravo
Julian Serrano, located inside Aria Resort and Casino, is an open-space establishment with potential foot traffic as it is surrounded by other shops and restaurants in a mall setting. Brightly colored with modern furnishings, it offers a substantial tapas menu with almost every conceivable meal offering--seafood, beef, chicken and vegetable dishes are available. Though the portions aren't substantial, our party of five were able to taste from different dishes ordered. They were able to accommodate a request for a member of our party with a food allergy and our server was efficient and courteous. Be prepared to deal with a number of plates on the table and to cut the small portions into smaller pieces so that everyone can sample the food.
We had a great meal. Pedro was our waiter and he did a great job. Food was impeccable prepared and a great value comparatively. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good option outside of steak and Italian on the strip.
We went to Jose Serrano for a late evening tapas experience. We had a variety of items but the most memorable was the oxtail and the white anchovies on a crispy potato slice. Overall the items were a little hit and miss. Nothing bad but for the price you wish everything could be AMazing. Service was slow and then everything came at once which is not the tapas style of eating. Overall it was a good dining experience and I would recommend. Wine was good as well as white sangria which was light and refreshing 😊
Best tapas I had, I can’t rave enough about it. Our waiter Pedro was amazing as well.
Great. Loved the food and the ambiance. Music was a little too loud to conduct business.
Very high quality tapas, some of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely playing, high quality ingredients and delicious balance of flavors. I would definitely recommend.
Literally one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. My other is the Julian Serrano Lago restaurant in Bellagio. I take all of my out of town visitors here.
My husband and I loved the food. The wait staff was very diligent.
Great place! Food was excellent and the staff was friendly.
The waiters were attentive but the food we ordered, including the 🥘 paella was truly sad. Wrong rice, wrong seasoning , even wrong color 😳 seemed more like squid ink rice. The presentation was good though.
All the best, we felt we made a donation.
Food is great as are the wait staff. Noise level is a little high. And it’s a bit pricey for Tapas. But what isn’t in Las Vegas?
We were overwhelmed with all the choices in Las Vegas. We eventually decided on this restaurant because it was near our room in the Vdara hotel and was listed as more moderately priced. It exceeded our expectations! Everything we ate was innovative, delicious, beautiful, perfectly shareable for two. Highly recommend the skirt steak, tuna cones and the salad with apple, beet and manchego cheese.
The food was fabulous but it was overshadowed by awful service. After we were seated and greeted, it took 20 minutes for the served to come back to our table to take drink orders and then another 20 before they came back with the wine we ordered and only then we were able to order our food. The food was SO delicious, but again, the service ruined the entire experience for us. It would be one thing if the restaurant was busy, but there were so many tables open that it was inexcusable.
Muy recomendable el ambiente y la comida muy buena.
Service was exceptional, food presentation was appealing to the eye, flavour was amazing.
It was a great 2/12 hours we had exploring the wines and tapas. We were never rushed....thank you for the great dining experience, we will definitely be back.
It was good, food was tasty and the service was wonderfuk
Awful. 3 of our 6 "hot" dishes arrived to the table very fast and ranging in temp from cold to lukewarm. So clearly the dishes were prepared far in advance and who knows how long they were sitting out. There were loads of servers and bus people and yet service was sub-par.
We ate here a few years ago on a trip to Vegas and really enjoyed it so made a point to go back and could not have been more disappointed.
Absolutely do not recommend.
food was mediocre for what you pay for it. I had two really good dining experiences in Las Vegas this week and was disappointed by this one. There are much better options available.
Be sure you have your server space out the food. Ours all came out at once at it was annoying. Personally I’m over the Tapas trend.
The food at Julian Serrano never disappoints. It's the serving size that keeps getting smaller and smaller that makes eating here a poor value. The Abondigas were great but 3 normal-sized meatballs for $18 is just wrong. I get "Tapas" are small dishes, but no table of 5 should have to pay $36 for a meatball each. Beers were served with the head an inch below the rim of the glass. Wine pours not generous at all. It felt like the restaurant was trying to get their food and beverage costs down, not serve their clientele.
Great meal, always good for a group.
Great selection of small plates. Was really good for a group with various good interests.
First of all, the restaurant is beautiful and has a modern style. The presentation of the food is lovely, yet the flavor and or taste of the food is less than I expected especially coming from a top chef with a reputation for making great tasting food. Not to say it was terrible. The high price of the tapas compared to the flavor, definitely too expensive.
squid ink paella was excellent. The black truffle was not worth the $35. The Iberico ham was authentic. Delicious.
Great food and service.
Exceed my expectations sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
This was my second time dining at this establishment, and it did not disappoint! Our party enjoyed ordering multiple dishes to share. We couldn’t choose a favorite, it was all delicious! We also each got our own dessert, but we didn’t share those!
Excellent place for tapas!
excellent place. Spanish spirit everyware, very, very good service.
We love tapas but had a few that we’ve never had before. The Hamachi (raw tapa) was amazing! Will need to go back when in Vegas again.
Wonderful Cuisine. Great service
Every trip to Las Vegas must include a dinner at Juan Serrano Tapas. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, the ambiance is right on!
SERVICE WAS VERY POOR, SLOW AND INATTENTIVE. THIS RESTAURANT WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO US AND WE WERE QUITE DISAPPOINTED WITH FOOD, SERVICE AND ALL THE DELAYS!
I love this restaurant. The food and space is excellent. It is a bit overpriced for Tapas, but this is the only negative. C’est la vie on the strip!
In general ok.
Very nice location - great service and atmosphere - different and great food -love the sangria
not impressed with food. octopus fishy. Paella averige. small apetazers. Same cheff has a restaurant at the Cosmo - way better quality
Food was wonderful, but very slow. Restaurant is way too loud.
