Julian Serrano Tapas - ARIA
Julian Serrano stretches the boundaries of small plates and introduces guests to delectable interpretations of his native Spanish fare. Gather for lunch or dinner in an environment that rivals the energy of the innovative cuisine served. From the detailed décor to the hot tapas, flavor is abundant.
Excellent tapas and service. Expensive but it’s Vegas and the food was amazing.
We’ve been several times, but it’s been a couple of years. Something in the paella wasn’t very fresh. Drinks were very good.
Some of the best tapas we’ve ever had. The service was wonderful as well. You will not be disappointed. The restaurant is open to the lobby area but that didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back.
Great tapas, service and ambiance! I would definitely recommend to my friends.
Food was good but the prices have gone up so much that I don't feel it's worth going there anymore. Like all things Vegas they are pricing themselves out as far as I am concerned! Won't be back again.
Delicious food but beware, when they say the Brava potatoes are spicy they aren’t kidding. A little pricey but reflective of the quality of the food and LV dining.
It was a birthday celebration for our daughters 21st birthday! From start to finish we felt VIP status and loved it!
I want to review this better but compared to previous experiences, I just can’t. The service was good overall, however, despite being welcoming and helpful the timing was off. Dishes came properly at first and then many at once and then none for quite a while, and then we couldn’t find out waitress for about 20 minutes. The food itself is very good but I remember the paella being better and somehow the prices being less and the menu more extensive. One sangria we tried was fantastic (the white), another (the blue) was ok, and the “usual” red was not good at all. The foie gras and steak dish, however, is a standout not to be missed.
Service was not impressive food was decent but some of it came after dessert
The best most innovative food ever!
Service was inattentive but friendly. Food was delicious but I’ve had better tapas in my own hometown.
I have been to Julian Serrano in Las Vegas multiple times, and I would start by saying it never disappounts! In fact, since the last time I was here, they dramatically ramped up the wine list, which is the only aspect I would have criticized in the past. My only criticism this time is that they took their goat cheese stuffed piquillo peppers off of the menu, which was always one of my favorites. Nonetheless, they had plenty of great choices, including a new version of their amazing brava potatoes! This is a must visit restaurant while in Vegas!!!!
Third time at JS. It used to be a good choice but the quality of the plates have declined and doesn't match the prices paid. Too many options in Vegas to go back.
Lively atmosphere, great food & yummy churros! This was our second visit to the restaurant. It was even better the second time.
Honestly I felt uncomfortable...rather “stuffy”atmosphere....and I dislike a menu I have to struggle with (really unsure what your getting until you get it). We have eaten at several tapas restaurants and loved them. The service was great, food was okay....some dishes better than others.....nothing wowed us. We had combo pics: while garlic & special peppers.....lots of mildly pickled whole clove garlic and small “peppercini” like peppers. Not bad just not really what we were expecting. Ensalada mixta.. decent salad with good dressing on side, greens, hard boiled eggs and tuna. Lobster dish...small amount of lobster, nothing special on bed of buckwheat-like noodles. Serrano tender...husband said rather tough on bread w/foe gras. Had the albondigas....meatballs....nothing fancy. Best dish I enjoyed was the gambas...shrimp in mild tomato sauce. Both food and uncomfortable atmosphere will make it a “no”-return.....too many fun, comfortable better food choice restaurants in Vegas....on my opinion.
The food was delicious! Our sommelier was very helpful in explaining the differences in several wines we were interested in. The small plates were unique combinations that were excellent.
The Aria seems like a lovely hostelry for being on the tacky and superficial Las Vegas Strip. Julian Serrano is right off the main lobby. It is a lovely space, with a bright Iberian design. I do wish it was enclosed and not open to the lobby, but that saves money and is integral to a Las Vegas concept. The best thing about JST is the staff. Both Jimmy and Andrea were a joy to converse with, as we ate and drank wine at the bar. We ordered the lunch special, three choices for $29.00. The highlight were the tuna cones, a very fresh and tasty dish. JST was a perfect choice for a very pleasant lunch.
Overall good food and vibe.
Paella was a little too oily.
So yummy! Service was prompt, all of the food was 5/5.
Fantastic meal and great service by Pedro from Madrid. Every single thing was amazing.
The food was delicious. I can’t wait to go back again. I almost went two nights in a row but my feet were tired from standing all day at a trade show. I will be back.
Open for late night meal. Enjoy small plates/tapas option. Gazpacho was very tasty
The food was incredible!!! We could not stop ordering!
The best service we got it from Antonio. Made the best experience during our stay in las Vegas.
The ambiance is great, the food was good. The service was okay, they were crowded with a group from a convention. The coffee was really good.
Had such high hopes after dining at Picasso (another Serrano restaurant). Not a very authentic experience. The food was over seasoned and we did not like the "touches" added. Jalapeños in calamares is hardly a Spanish tapa. There was cilantro sprinkled on the appetizer of Manchego and tomato on pan. Why? Paella was very heavy in general. Try Jaleo if you want great authentic Spanish tapas.
Presentation, taste, service were top notch. Would definitely return!
Some of the best food you will ever taste. If you like hamburgers this is not your place. Very noisy so not a romantic date.
If you like small plates of exceptional food go to Serrano’s. Gazpacho and crevice are indescribably good.
It's fun to eat all of the delicious tapas. But don't underestimate the Paella-perhaps the best ever made, seriously delicious. Order as soon as you get seated (takes and hour). The red Sangria works perfect with the Paella.
Honestly, it was one of the worst value meals I have had, almost - ever. Coming from Victoria, BC, Canada, my expectation was that this restaurant would be as good asThe Tapa Bar, with a more upscale dining experience and frankly, it was neither.
In one word: Amazing! We tried all of their sangrias and each was unique and delicious. The small plates were a delight: cheese plate, croquetas de pollo and those wonderful tuna cones were something else.
I really like their churros for dessert (even though it’s not their top recommendation) it was sweet, crunchy, the sauces were creamy and tasty. Perfectly paired with a strong carajillo. Can’t get better than this!
Great food! They had white truffle which was amazing!! Super recomendation!!
We have been to this restaurant a few times and service was always great, the food very good. However, this time service was slow and confused by the staff. Dinner took longer than we had generously planned, my guests were not impressed with the service.
10 of us for dinner....they did an amazing job. The suckling pig and paellas were simply incredible
So good! Loved most things we ordered. Especially, tender & crab, peppers, Serrano ham, manchego & tomato bread. It was a lot of fun.
This was finally a place that honors Spanish tapas as we know them! Great tasting food with real ingredients.
We had a variety of food and the team sent it to the table in a special sequence and timing that made it very nice experience.
too expensive ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………...
Julian Serrano's never fails to amaze me. Excellent service. Amazing food. The Artichoke tapas was outstanding. Do much good food!
I’ve heard great things about this restaurant,...I was underwhelmed. I got three small plates
1. Short rib. I ordered medium rare. It was well and tough/chewy. The potato purée and mushroom Demi was good though
2. Cuban sandwich. This portion was good, but the mustard was overwhelming. It reminded me of McDonald’s
3. Chicken croquette. These were good. Looked like
Hush puppies but tasted like shredded chicken in a cream sauce .
Overall I was underwhelmed with the overall experience
