Julep Bar stands as an illustrious recipient of the prestigious James Beard Award, celebrated for its exquisite blend of craft cocktails, thoughtfully curated bar bites, and an enchanting ambiance. The menus, ever-evolving to mirror the changing seasons, captivate with their meticulous emphasis on fine ingredients and flavors. Located on Washington Ave between Sawyer and Silver St. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and B&B Butcher's Steak House is within walking Distance.

We always take walk-ins so shoot us a texas or stop by and see us if you don't see a table available.

Had a wonderful time at Julep as a pre-show drink and meal. Sending array of craft cocktails to choose from. I loved that they can make a penicillin, which requires fresh ginger. Also tried one of the Julep drinks, pretzel, and flatbread pizza. All great.

It was a great last spot for my friends birthday. Drinks were good. Everyone had a little bit of everything and the prices were not bad. Good spot to do girls night

I discovered Julep on InKind and decided to give them a try after browsing the menu online .The host and bar staff were kind and seating at the bar was easy. However, I had a frustrating experience with the lack of drink menu clarity and bartender communication. As someone who knows her old fashioneds, I always ask about the bourbon. The menu does not list specific spirits (only vague terms like “bourbon or rye whiskey”), which already felt a bit sketchy. The bartender let me know their house old fashioned uses Old Forester—not my favorite—so I asked for Bulleit instead. He was nice, but clearly not a mixologist, and there was no mention of any upcharge. The drink was fine (a 5/10 at best), but when my check arrived, I was surprised to see the price jump from the listed $16 to $22. I assumed gratuity had been added, but was told it hadn’t. Only then did I see they charged me $6 extra just for choosing a different bourbon. The money isn’t the issue—it’s the lack of transparency. If you’re going to charge for substitutions, your staff should say that up front or list it clearly on the menu. The experience left me feeling like the priority here was maximizing the bill, not customer clarity or experience. Because of that, I’m honestly unsure if I’d return or recommend.

My husband and I have been in for after dinner drinks a couple of times but the Derby Party was awesome! We will be back soon!

My husband and I and some friends went for the Kentucky Derby party and we all had a fantastic time!! The place was decorated beautifully and the band was amazing!! The only thing that would of made it more perfect was some healthy choices of finger foods to go along with our delicious drinks
