First time here for many, many months. Food was the best we have had here; seemed very focused. Service was great, cocktails were terrific and distanced tables were much appreciated. We will return soon.
My daughter & I truly enjoyed our meal along with experiencing amazing staff. Michael was our server and really helpful on suggestions which took on food and cocktails.
Excellent food, service and prompt food service coming out of the kitchen.
Dumplings were over cooked and very tough even with using a knife to try to cut them The manager did take the dumplings off the bill and we appreciated that. Chicken was delicious. Nice to be able to go back there.
Amazing meal in a great setting with outstanding service. Fantastic!
Delicious, original recipes, great wines and craft cocktails, attentive service - great for a nice evening or special occasion. We love sitting outdoors in nice weather or at the high top tables for a cozy dinner.
Good veggie options.
Yesterday evening I went to Jujube with a friend. It was my first visit, and a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. I have lived for many years in Singapore, and traveled quite a bit in South-east Asia, so the food back brought back fond memories. The dishes tasted authentic, and well executed!
There was no problem with the ambiance, only that we were sitting outside. That was our choice. The COVID-19 precautions are outstanding.
This was my 1st visit. My family wanted bring me here because they love the food. Unfortunately I guess I ordered the wrong thing. The Kung pao seemed to be missing its peanuts and the sauce was very watery. The brussel sprouts were amazing. My mom had the bolognese which was delish and my brother had the drunken noodles which were also good. Service was terrific. They were very accommodating to my sister in laws myriad food allergies/sensitivities. I’ll give it another try but avoid the Kung pao.
Jujube has had some of the best food in the triangle without a doubt.
Great food, fantastic service! Highly recommend Jujube!
Plenty of space between tables, and our waiter was very attentive but never intrusive. Always a pleasure! The crab and shrimp cakes were delicious, and I always love the Jujube sangria!
A fantastic meal. Vietnamese Salad Rolls followed by Gado Gado. Generous portions which resulted in leftovers for the next day. The cocktail menu is excellent. The Paper Crane is a refreshing blend with some bubbles and a spicy sweet rim. Service was thoughtful and well paced. Kudos all around
Excellent service, delicious food. Comfortable atmosphere.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Birthday dinner was great.
Very creative menu. Fun evening. Looking forward to returning!
Always, ALWAYS very good. One of the best in Chapel Hill.
I have considered Jujube one of the best in Asian fusion here in the Triangle for years now. The food is outstanding every time. Craft cocktails are simply divine. And the staff have always been welcoming and first rate!
The biggest problem I have with Jujube is that it’s not closer to my house. I ordered small plates with a friend and we really liked everything we ordered. Looking forward to returning.
Fantastic experience from service to ambiance to food and beverage. The food was delicious: flavorful mushroom curry soup, tender flank steak, and sweet and spicy sautéed chicken. While dinner was delicious it doesn’t compare to the dessert which is fabulous. We had a wonderful dining experience and plan to return.
Just a great place to meet with friends, and enjoy delicious food. The cuisine is such an interesting mix of flavors. One of my favorite places in Chapel Hill.
Excellent place for outdoor dining. The service was excellent. All the wait staff wore masks. The patio area was not crowded. We all enjoyed our meals.
Our server was great. He quietly took care of our needs. I had the crab and shrimp cake with the delicious thai style sauce. YUM! My friend had the hanger steak which, for me, is just a little too chewy. She, on the other hand, thought it was wonderful.
The mushroom and cabbage dumplings were very good and I would love to have some right now.
I ordered their version of a whiskey sour and would not get it again. Too sweet. Can't wait to go back.
I like the place, great food, and great service. The decoration is nice, but I give the ambience a low rating because they have a problem with the exhausting of the fumes from the kitchen into the dining area. A lot of smoke will transfer to the other side in the dining area and that was not good. It is a nice place and they just need to fix that issue. Planning to come back, I hope by them they have fix the problem.
I ordered the crab cake and the texture was tough. I thought perhaps it had been frozen and defrosted or too much filling. It tasted ok but not delicious. Our waiter was solicitous and sweet. We dined very early in the evening alone in the back. Ambiance was safe but not appealing.
The food and atmosphere were wonderful. The service was exceptional from the moment I walked in. I had a foot injury and the hostess was so kind and accommodating - she made me feel welcomed when I was feeling anxious. The waiter was nice, helpful, informative. We reserved another dinner that very night. My new favorite restaurant.
Wonderful experience! Incredible food. Beautiful presentation!
Excellent experience. Food was fantastic as was the staff at Jujube.
Food and service is always good. Love the beef and goat cheese wontons.
Such a special place! It is a must each time we visit Chapel Hill! Even our hotel rated it as a must visit!
First time eating inside a restaurant in over a year. Jujube is one of our go to favorites. Food is consistently good.
Everything was incredible! Just as we had remembered! So happy to be dining out again!
Everything sparkled, the food, the service, the ambiance. A longtime favorite, Jujube has survived the Pandemic in style.
Absolutely outstanding gem in Chapel Hill. The service and food combined make it such a delight. As someone who is celiac, I am also deeply grateful for the added effort they extend to ensure those with food allergies can enjoy an exceptional - and safe - meal.
We had an excellent, relaxed dinner with friends on the patio. It is a perfect spot for virus safety. Even though it was raining, the covered roof kept us dry. I think Jubube makes the best Old Fashioned of any restaurant in the area.
Excellent food and service!
We typically love Jujube but did not have a friendly waiter. He was pretty rude. Mid dinner we switched and had a great waiter take over. It was pretty chilly out. Our reservations were at 6:30. They gave us one heater. No one else was on the patio and no one else came while we were there but they wouldn’t let us move or move a heater near us. The food was great.
Jujube has great food, but I wish that they would have a new menu. It would be fun to be able to sample new dishes when we go there.
Lovely food and comfortable seating. Safe spacing between tables. Especially loved the calamari
