Juan’s Flying Burrito in New Orleans is your one-stop shop for Mexican food in the heart of the Big Easy. Stop in and try the salads, nachos, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and quesadillas. There is no end to the salsa options that are served with the chips and, being Louisiana, you can rest assured they have some serious kick. There are also some sweeter options at Juan’s Flying Burrito too like pineapple salsa, Greek yogurt and chipotle sour.
The margaritas at Juan’s Flying Burrito are also amazing. They have over a dozen to choose from with names like House Rox, El Patron and The Lowrider.
Amazing food and amazing margaritas. The pineapple cilantro is my absolute favorite and the steak fajitas cannot be beat.
Waitress was fantastic
My favorite Mexican restaurant in the world. Highly recommend the Flying Burrito and a Frozen Marg!
Great authentic food. Happy hour has good drink deals.
Amazing! From the minute you walk in the door, to the minute you leave. Service was perfection, cost is beyond reasonable, and food was delicious. Accommodated my food allergies without issues or feelings of inconvenience. I give this place 5 stars!
The best thing about eating at this restaurant was the Churros that I ordered to-go at the end of our visit. We were sat immediately upon arrival. However, it took our sever several minutes to reach our table. Our server told us that she's sorry that it took so long; she was busy. We ordered appetizers and alcoholic beverages. That also took awhile to get. The guacamole was okay. I ordered a Mango Margarita and had to send it back. It was gross, and tasted like chalk. I tried to drink it, but couldn't. Our entrees were very bland, dry, and tasteless. They were not flavorful, at all. We were all pretty disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to get a good "Mexican" meal. Because this was not it. Also, we sat near a door that was constantly opened. So, a cold breeze would swoop in every single time the door was opened, and it was opened several times.
We had the sweetest server & the ambiance was great!
Great neighborhood place. Solid service. Good happy hour margaritas.
We celebrated our sons bday , great service, great food , great service
Very accommodating for a large party of people on a Saturday night.
Great food. Great service. Lovely night out!
Food was outstanding. Best Fish Tacos I've ever had.
First time. Waiter was great! Helped us make great decisions from our cocktails to dinner. He was also very friendly and my our experience wonderful. Food was to die for. We will be back.
Service was horrible
Great and spicy bacon bean dip, delicious quesadilla and fish tacos!
Margaritas just OK, but one of the tastiest quedadillas I've ever had. Need to change the online menu though.
Large portions, expect to take some home. Interesting twists on Mexican food... All good!
A real gem. It was super quiet easy to find and the food portions were huge. Definitely recommend
Great service delicious food. Only problem was every time the door opened we got a chilling breeze across the table. Weather beyond their control restaurant arrangement is up to them. Still a good experience overall.
Sehr leckeres Essen in kultiger Umgebung
Funky Mexican hot spot......Food and service are both great! Be prepared for loud!
Ate there on a late Sunday evening on a recent visit in New Orleans. Great service and tasty tacos. I also enjoyed their house margarita that was on happy hour special. Good for a causal meal.
Food and drink were good as usual. The difference this time was that when we got there, our table was being held for us even though there was an hour wait. Last year we reserved a table through Open Table and still had to wait 20 minutes to sit. Thanks Juan's for making this adjustment.
I had the street truck tacos and my husband enjoyed the flying burrito. Great food, excellent value and a fun vibe. We'll return next time we're in town.
We had a reservation for 7:45 for six of us and we arrived on time, however, there was not a table available. The restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly busy, but most there was not a readily available table for all of us. So, we waited at the bar for what we were told would be 15 or 20 minutes. After about an hour went by, we inquired about pushing two tables together, which was apparently not an option. We then asked to speak to a manager who was very aggressive toward us and eventually asked us to leave. The Juan's on magazine street is great, but the one in the CBD needs a new staff and attitude!
Juan's does not accept Open Table reservations. It was a good thing they could accommodate our party of six with ease or things could have been interesting given we had a 3 year old and an infant with us. The host was completely mystified about Open Table and said their system was not even equipped to handle them. Juan's is a first come first serve restaurant. Do not bother using OT.
Love this little bit of Paris in New Orleans
Food came out really quickly. Hostess was really sweet... Waiter not overly friendly but still great service. Had the beef tacos, really large portion for the price. Wasn't a huge fan of the guacamole... Didn't have too much flavor.
Had a great time on Mother's Day. Food was good. Staff accommodated a large crowd very well. Would do it again.
Despite my showing the hostess the email from Open Table confirming my reservation, they refused to honor the reservation and would not even offer to bump us up on the waitlist. No one offered any apologies or explanation for why they didn't have my reservation. I like Juan's but would NOT rely on them honoring a reservation.
I showed up for my dinner and told the hostess that I had a reservation and she said that we didn't. When I showed her my OpenTable confirmation email, she said "I didn't get that email".
