Amazing! From the minute you walk in the door, to the minute you leave. Service was perfection, cost is beyond reasonable, and food was delicious. Accommodated my food allergies without issues or feelings of inconvenience. I give this place 5 stars!

The best thing about eating at this restaurant was the Churros that I ordered to-go at the end of our visit. We were sat immediately upon arrival. However, it took our sever several minutes to reach our table. Our server told us that she's sorry that it took so long; she was busy. We ordered appetizers and alcoholic beverages. That also took awhile to get. The guacamole was okay. I ordered a Mango Margarita and had to send it back. It was gross, and tasted like chalk. I tried to drink it, but couldn't. Our entrees were very bland, dry, and tasteless. They were not flavorful, at all. We were all pretty disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to get a good "Mexican" meal. Because this was not it. Also, we sat near a door that was constantly opened. So, a cold breeze would swoop in every single time the door was opened, and it was opened several times.

Ate there on a late Sunday evening on a recent visit in New Orleans. Great service and tasty tacos. I also enjoyed their house margarita that was on happy hour special. Good for a causal meal.

Food and drink were good as usual. The difference this time was that when we got there, our table was being held for us even though there was an hour wait. Last year we reserved a table through Open Table and still had to wait 20 minutes to sit. Thanks Juan's for making this adjustment.

We had a reservation for 7:45 for six of us and we arrived on time, however, there was not a table available. The restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly busy, but most there was not a readily available table for all of us. So, we waited at the bar for what we were told would be 15 or 20 minutes. After about an hour went by, we inquired about pushing two tables together, which was apparently not an option. We then asked to speak to a manager who was very aggressive toward us and eventually asked us to leave. The Juan's on magazine street is great, but the one in the CBD needs a new staff and attitude!

Juan's does not accept Open Table reservations. It was a good thing they could accommodate our party of six with ease or things could have been interesting given we had a 3 year old and an infant with us. The host was completely mystified about Open Table and said their system was not even equipped to handle them. Juan's is a first come first serve restaurant. Do not bother using OT.

Food came out really quickly. Hostess was really sweet... Waiter not overly friendly but still great service. Had the beef tacos, really large portion for the price. Wasn't a huge fan of the guacamole... Didn't have too much flavor.

Despite my showing the hostess the email from Open Table confirming my reservation, they refused to honor the reservation and would not even offer to bump us up on the waitlist. No one offered any apologies or explanation for why they didn't have my reservation. I like Juan's but would NOT rely on them honoring a reservation.
