Nice bar atmosphere.
Nice views from the outdoor patio. Very friendly service. The service is a little slow and it took a while to get our food.
JT's was a random find. I found it to be very pleasant and welcoming. We sat on the patio and had great views of the surrounding mountains. Food was delicious! I will return on my next visit up there.
We went to JT's Bistro on a Monday evening. The calamari appetizer was light, crispy, and not at all greasy, a great appetizer. The strawberry salad was very fresh and had a nice light subtle raspberry flavor. After that we had two burgers, a cheeseburger and a JT. While my burger was a little done more than I would have liked, the burger and its toppings (along with a side of mayo) had a wonderful flavor that had me enjoying it completely. The restaurant began to fill up faster than I believe the staff on hand was expecting. However, the employees regrouped and were courteous and prompt. I recommend JT's, the food and experience were exactly what was expected and needed.
I’m not sure what the other reviewers are looking at, but this is a bar. A bar with an elevated menu, but principally a bar. The outdoor tables are worn and the patio is located on the main drag in town, with lots of traffic and an abandoned storefront across the street. In other words, the atmosphere is poor. My wife almost fell when walking into the building when stepping on a loose board in the deck.
All that being said, the food was pretty good, except my short ribs were fairly fatty. The salads were very good. Our server was excellent. Food came out fast enough but they were not busy. I wouldn’t go back.
Waste of time. We arrived and all they had were tacos and nachos. Apparently Chef didnt work on Tuesday. Felt completely mislead. We traveled 30 min to the restaurant. Ended up eating from a supermarket as everything was busy at that point.
Ordered the Saturday special-Prime Rib. We ordered MedRare. We received Med to MedWell. We would have preferred being told that they didn't have any MedRare left rather than them trying to see if we would eat it anyway.
Service was OUTSTANDING! It was quiet when we arrived so we sat at the bar. The same staff works the bar and tables.
It was our first visit. We will go again, but will not order the prime rib.
Just as described: upscale food in a comfortable, family-friendly environment. We went with 4 adults and 5 children <14 with a last minute reservation. The service was excellent, the food superb, and the atmosphere very welcoming. Would highly recommend, and I plan on going back soon.
There was only one reservation available on Open Table for NYE, and now I know why. This restaurant doesn’t check their Open Tables resv so it didn’t matter. We weren’t the only table this happened to. They did get us sat quickly regardless, which was good. The drinks were disappointing, don’t order a JT margarita. It’s a rum punch/pineapple punch (no lime) at best and the waitress said it was our job to mix the drink not hers.... we ordered two rib eyes and the meatball appetizer. I wanted the pork chop but they were out. We heard the hostess telling other tables service would be slow and the kitchen was backed up 45 mins but no one ever acknowledged that for us. About 15 mins after we ordered we were told one of us had to switch because they only had one rib eye. No problem, my boyfriend swapped for the bison burger. The meatballs arrived and were as disappointing as the drinks. Do not order them. They are the bag of frozen meatballs from Walmart. After a significant wait, and no acknowledgement of a wait from our waitress, our food arrived. The ribeye was cooked really well but just didn’t taste amazing. I will say my boyfriend loved the bison burger, it was incredible and the only bright spot of the food/drinks. Finally our bill came, and we were upcharged for the Mash with the burger. You would think after the wait and forced switch they would comp the side change, but not at this place. The wait staff was nice enough, but completely unaware/inattentive. If you see a reservation open I strongly suggest you keep looking, it’s not worth the drive.
Great food but slow service.
Wonderful food without the high prices...recommend you pay them a visit.
Very friendly fast service. Ate there for Sunday breakfast. Every dish was excellent from chicken fried steak and eggs to crab Benedict and green chili egg burritos. Something for everyone here. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again when going through camp Verde.
Sitting in the restaurant writing the review while waiting for a check. If you come here that is what you do, wait.
Service is slow both in the kitchen and with the servers. Had to ask for water twice, there is a Covid mask sign on the door, not being followed and the serving staff doesn’t wear them. We waited 59 minutes for an order that was wrong.
We will not be back but I feel that this place will soon be on the national TV show Bar Rescue, so stay tuned to see what happens.
Not sure how long I should wait for my bill after asking? Maybe just leave my business card and tell them to bill me? Wow, what a joke. I’m posting this review in hopes they will see it and speed this painstaking process up.
First time visit....weekend getaway ...sat on outdoor patio at sunset...overlooking mesa. Terrific service, food
