Welcome to J’s on the Bay, owned and operated by proprietor Chef Joe Salimeni, award-winning graduate of French Culinary Institute and self made owner of this establishment as well as J’s Meal Prep. J’s On the Bay offers Meal Prep for busy customers on the go. From quinoa salads to truffled chicken lettuce wraps, turkey chili and everything in between. They offer weekly delivery to all five boroughs and soon, nationwide distribution.
J’s offers its customers a unique dining experience with its off the cuff combinations of classic ingredients and their unexpected marriages Chef Joe constructs. J’s was first opened in 2014 has evolved over the last 7 years from a homely neighborhood diner to the fine dining restaurant it is today. Excellent experience at Js as always. Sharif went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He made us a delicious cocktail. As well as gave us excellent suggestions. The zucchini flowers were absolutely fantastic. The best ones I ever had. I love the twist they put on them. The street corn pie is our go to pie. Sounds weird but it’s incredible, an absolute must try! Spicy rigatoni is one of my favorites and I’ve never had it here before & it was also one of my favorites I’ve ever had. Everything is always delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here. They put their own twist on Italian dishes. Making them modern & fun. Looking forward to going back & trying new things! Thank you Sharif for the amazing hospitality!

I had my Baptism Brunch here. Rafael I would give 100 stars. The Brunch was Great and service was excellent. I can’t wait to try dinner as I heard so much about it. We had you on his toes and you never missed a request. Thank You for an Awesome time. We will be back. Tia Walker

finally got to eat at J's on the bay. The staff was very welcoming and the Service was Great. The Food was delicious. Bread service was focaccia that was made in house. Espresso martini was smooth. Appetizer was Burrata with peaches and Prosciutto. Main course was linguine alla Vongole. Dessert was elderberry tart. Ambiance was old world Italian. I highly recommend eating here. #itlianfood #goodmea

What a great experience!! The food was delicious!!! Everyone was super nice and the kids loved the kids night where they had dinner with Cookie Monster and ate for free. We came during restaurant week and therefore tried appetizers, entrees and desserts and EVERYTHING was delicious!

J’s on the Bay is a favorite restaurant. We love Joseph’s creative and scrumptious menu. It is evident he pays attention to detail and quality. His staff is attentive and passionate about their food. We love coming here for any meal. They are all wonderful.

J’s on the Bay is an excellent restaurant. The cuisine is creative: the executive chef designs a menu that is inventive, trying different takes on cultural and interesting dishes. It’s always a culinary adventure to eat there: delicious food, great wine and signature drinks as well as inventive pizzas and scrumptious desserts. An absolute favorite.
